[Ryunosuke's POV]

I entered the Infirmary, still carrying this girl on my arms. Akira-sensei* is sitting on the nurse's desk, sipping on her cup of coffee. "Akira-sensei, can you please check up on this person. She passed out and we didn't know what happened."

Akira-sensei stood up from her seat and went to the nearest bed, pushing the infirmary curtains away. I placed the girl on the bed and sat down on the nearby chair, letting Akira-sensei do her job. She checked her temperature and vital signs and sighed. "Akazawa-san is suffering from low blood sugar. She needs to drink this once she wakes up." She hands me a medicine before closing the curtains. "That girl is so stubborn when it comes to eating...oh god." She mutters.

I sighed and looked at the girl who is laying down on the bed. She had dark brown hair.... probably she dyed it herself and fair skin. I noticed a few bruises on her arms. I wonder what happened.

A few moments later, she woke up. I was just playing some Bandori and remembering what Akira-sensei said, I placed my phone down and gave her the medicine. She accepted and took it before chugging down on her glass of water.

And then, there's silence again.

The situation was just awkward as hell. Both of us were just sitting on our spots until she bursted and screamed. "Wait, did the others see them?"

I scratched the back of my neck as I don't know what she is talking about. "See what?"

She groaned in annoyance and stood up, removing some wires that are attached to her body. She grabbed me by my arm as I let myself get dragged since I don't even know what she meant. When we reached the nurse's table where Akira-sensei is, my eyes went wide... probably wider than Akira-sensei who is also looking at the horrible scene happening outside. Pale bodies were fighting against one another, sucking and biting their necks, their chests, and other parts of the body that I can't even mention. They are eating themselves.
"Is this cannibalism?" I asked.

"Oh my." Akira-sensei exclaimed as she held tightly on her cross that is placed on her hand. I'm not sure if she is praying but it's my first time seeing her scared.

The girl beside me though, is another story. She is very different as she acted normal even if situations like this are happening. "That isn't cannibalism. 'Cause once you're bitten, you are infected by the virus."

Akira-sensei stopped watching and rushed to the different drawers. "Kids, this isn't a normal virus-thing. If I were you, find something that you could use to hit them.

We nodded as we went to the corner to make our plan. I gestured for her to sit down. "Okay so this isn't simple. I have a plan though."

She nodded as she took out a school handbook which was at a drawer. "I have a plan as well, but I want to hear yours first.... uh what is your name?"

"My name's Ryunosuke. But call me Amamiya cause only close people can call me by my first name. Anyways, the plan is....."

A few moments later, we stood up from our seat and went to Akira-sensei. "Ano, sensei. Amamiya-san and I will be back. Oh and if we see some healthy students along the way, is it alright if we bring them here? This building shall be our base." The girl beside me said. Damn, I don't know her name yet.

Akira-sensei nodded. From there, we went out of the infirmary and closed the door as we did so, making Akira-sensei safe. We first headed to all the exits on the first floor of the left wing of the school, blocking them with the desks nearby. Next, we also blocked the side stairs. I was in charge of hitting the dead bodies as the girl who's with me, was the one putting some barricades using the wires we found. We also secured the rooftop connected to the main building of the school. We went back downstairs and began checking the rooms one by one. We first checked the 3 floor passing by the clean empty classrooms. Good thing there wasn't any infected around.

Or so I thought.

I heard the girl behind me groaned as one of the infected tried to strangled her to death. I was about to rescue her but then something poked me from behind. It was another infected person but with a knife stabbed into its torso. It was a horrible sight.

I began hitting it with the baseball bat that I found from the classrooms. After hitting its head several times and ended up breaking its neck, the body fell down on the ground. I checked on the girl behind me and she was alright. "How did you...?"

She smiled and proudly showed me a Kendo sword which she probably found somewhere.  "Look, I found my sword."

So she was a member of the Kendo club. Looks like I stumbled upon the right person afterall. "I know this may seem like a bad timing but....what is your name?"

"I am... Rin. Akazawa Rin."
