I leaved a deep sigh and answered the call.

"Yes Mr. Colonel?"

"Your case is closed."

Well that was kind of rude but anyway at least I have some answers. I got in my car and drives through the police department. I calmly walked through the office and saw Jonah. Why is he here? Oh no. No.

"I guess you have a lot of things to talk. I'll be back in a few minutes." Said Mr. Colonel glazing at Jonah then turned around his head and looked at me then leaved the room.

"J-Jonah? Why are you here?" I said with watery eyes and a crack voice. He couldn't do it. He wouldn't. I started to cry silently.

"I'm sorry. But she deserved it." Jonah said with a quiet voice.

"YOU CAN'T DECIDE IF SHE'S GOING TO LIVE OR DIE!" I said yelling at him. He didn't say a word.

"Why? Why would you do this? Actually you know what? It makes sense. You weren't home after I learned about the murder. You weren't home for 3 days. You were hiding. You also set MY house on fire. And why is that? My house wasn't pretty enough to exist?" I said with an angry mocking voice while crying.

"Explain it." I said. "Now."

"It's a long story." He said.

"Then sum it up." I said glazing at him.

"At high school she always humiliated me. She made fun of me with her friends. She always made fun of me. My self-esteem was low because of her. I was ignored by all of the girls and boys because of Penny. She always made me look like a loser nerd. She ruined my high school life. And now, I ruined hers. But I didn't knew you live with her. You were not a part of the plan. Well, sorry." He said.

"D-Did it worth it?" I said angrily and shocked. This is too much.

"Absolutely." He said with an smirk on his face.

This is not the Jonah I know. I covered my mouth with my hand and close my eyes. This was psychopathic. Who will do this?

Mr. Colonel and a few cops came in and took Jonah. I was crying like a maniac. He is my friend. He was my friend. I hardly stand up and went to my car. I drove to my old house's neighborhood. As I get there I lay back in my car seat and looked up to stop crying. It didn't worked anyway.

I can't handle with this on my own. Bad thoughts were coming to my mind. A knock on my car window distracted me. I looked at the window but it was too dark to see and it was raining. I get out of the car to take a deep fresh air and saw the stranger. What if it's a murderer or a thief or a psychopath? I don't give a flying fuck. I couldn't care less about everything now. I don't even feel anything.

"Why are you out at this time?" Said the stranger. I turned around to face him. It wasn't a stranger. It was Chris. Actually I'm glad to see him.

"Why are you?" I said to him.

"I usually jog around this time but I didn't expected rain so yeah. " He said gazing at me.

"Mhm. Well okay then." I said

"Why aren't you home?" Home. If I had one I would be there captain obvious. I leaved a nervous sigh. And summed the last couple of weeks of my life. He listened to me very carefully with wide eyes.

"You don't have any relatives?" He asked thinking something.

"Not here. No relatives. No friends. Literally. Nothing." I said

Chris looked thoughtful. He was thinking something. He was looking at the ground than looked at me with wide eyes. I looked at him with one eyebrow up.

"Stay with me." He said.
