As the weeks went on, Adrien and Marinette slowly grew closer. Though she was no closer to getting her memories back, she still found herself starting to like Adrien.

As Marinette lay on her bed, she thought of that day in the rain with Adrien. He had told her he still loved her. But with Marinettes memories gone, She had requested that they stay friends for the time being. She wanted to fall in love with him again and love him truly, not because she felt she had to. As she was petting Tiki, She thought about the Hawkmoth character she had heard so much about.

Ever since the accident, no more people were akumatised. She thought it was strange, but at the same time, she was relieved. She couldn't afford to be hurt once more. She started to hum as she brushed Tiki's fuzzy body, getting lost in her own little world. It was only after 3 shouts that Marinette heard her mothers voice calling her to come downstairs.

"Coming Mama!"

She told Tiki to hide and bounded down the stairs, grabbing a macaroon from the table on the way to the bakery. She munched on it, the passionfruit flavour reminding her of Adrien. She reminisced, thinking of when they hung out at the park the day before. They had gotten Andres' ice-cream, Marinette blushing when she got one which looked liked Adrien.

Adrien himself had gotten one with blue and pink, a Marinette cone. They had fed the ducks and sat on the edge of the pond eating ice-cream as Adrien counted all the fun times they had together.

From the terrible pun competition, they had as superhero's and the time Adrien blew up the kitchen microwave at their apartment, Marinette felt warm. The memories felt perfect.

As she stepped into the kitchen she started to greet Sabine when another person caught her eye. He had dark hair, dyed blue at the ends and a handsome face with piercing blue eyes that felt as if they looked straight into her soul. He had a guitar slung across his shoulder.

Marinette looked back to her Mum expectantly.

"Marinette, It's Luka! You remember him, don't you?"

At the mention of his name, Marinette remembered faint things about her childhood. Her and Luka had been best friends until he had moved away to Australia for his Mothers business. From what she remembered, Luka had been a chubby little time. Not this handsome stranger in front of her. She felt her cheeks grow warm when her eyes met his. Was she... blushing?

"Hey Marinette, good to see you again! My have you grown, you're so pretty now"

If Marinette wasn't blushing before, she sure as hell was now

"Oh uhm thanks L-luka, you're pretty to- I mean handsome- cool....Just kill me now, she mumbled.

Luka laughed, the laughter chiming around the bakery.

"C'mon dears, it's time for lunch!"

As Luka followed her Mum into the dining hall, Marinette faltered behind.

What would Luka's visit hold? As she finished of her macaroon, thoughts of Adrien once again filled her mind and she skipped of to the room.

To be continued...
