That girl, Lucy. I recognise her from somewhere. I'm not talking about the history lesson, I mean from my childhood. Her last name...

"Natsu~" Gajeel was waving his hand in front of my face. "Your dinner is ready, go!" He said.

I couldn't stop thinking about that Lucy... I mean, it's probably not her, but it might be.

(Lucy's POV)

"Did you have fun?" Levy teased.
"It was so weird." I replied. "Firstly I was dressed like a slut, then taught how to do everyday household chores, then how to do those chores in heels, and-" Levy interrupted my rant.

"The last part's the worst, isn't it?" She smirked.
"Oh don't even get me started." I whined, sticking my spoon in the slop we were given to eat.
"Keep quiet and eat your food!" Yelled a guard. What a prick! So that's what we did.

The next morning a grumpy man came around the cells banging on the doors to wake us up.
"Well, today's the day..." Levy sighed.
"I hope I don't get picked." I whispered.

"Oh, trust me, I'd be surprised if you weren't picked." Levy said. "If not Prince Natsu, then someone else will definitely pick you."
"That's not a good thing though..." I replied.

"All maids-to-be report to Aries' Dressing Room immediately." Like yelled from the end of the corridor. Our door was suddenly unlocked and we stepped outside.
"Let's go then." Levy smiled.

I have no idea how she could be happy at a time like this. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach.

Aries dressed us up in clothes that showed even more skin than yesterday and did our hair and makeup.
"Sumimasen~" She apologized. "You're all ready to go!"At that moment, some random men came out of nowhere and handcuffed us to a long chain.

I'm guessing it's so we couldn't run away.

There was six of us in a line; Levy was behind me and the girl in front of me had blue hair and wore a furry hat. There were two people in front of the bluenette and one person behind Levy.

We were dragged onto a stage where at least fifty pairs of prying eyes stared at me and the other girls. I could almost feel their gaze burning themselves onto my skin, when I saw a familiar pair of onyx eyes fixated on me.

(Natsu's POV)

There were six girls, Lucy was the fourth. She looked really sexy in that miniskirt, and I am determined to make her mine. After all, I do have 5,000,000 jewels to spend.

It's a bit like an auction; the person with the highest bid gets the girl. The first girl went for 100 jewels and the second went for 175. I had noticed Gray was bidding for the third girl with blue hair and a furry cap. Gray got her in the end for 300 jewels.

Now it's my turn.

"Next up is Lucy Heartfilia!" Yelled the auctioneer. "Let's start the bidding off at-" I interrupted him.
"500 jewels!" I yelled. The crowd 'ooed' at me, and I was sure no one would bid higher, until:

"750!" Someone yelled.
"850!"
"1000!"

I'm going to have to step up my game.

"10,000 jewels!" I yelled. The room went silent.
"11,000!" A person yelled out.
"15,000!" I retorted.
"30,000!" This person certainly had some money on them, but I wasn't giving up now!

"100,000!" I called. The look on everyone's faces were looks of shock; even the auctioneer. The court room fell silent.

"100,000 going once, twice, s-" the auctioneer was interrupted by someone walking in late.

"One million." He said.

Wait!

No way!

I recognised that voice.
"Z-Zeref!?" I yelled out in disbelief. He was banished from this kingdom...

What's he doing here!?

"Nice to see you also, Natsu." He replied. Zeref. My older brother. He was originally the heir to this kingdom, but he started to practice black magic, and subsequently was banished.

Enough about him, I have an auction to win!

"1,500,000" I called.
"2,000,000" He replied.
"3,000,000" I yelled.
"4,000,000" he retorted. Jeez, he's persistent.
"Five million jewels!" This was it. I couldn't bid any higher.

"Well, you got me. I'm all out." He smirked, and with that he vanished. Gone in a puff of black smoke.

"5 million going once, twice, SOLD. To Prince Natsu Dragneel." Yelled the auctioneer. I'll forget about Zeref for now...

Lucy was mine, and I don't want to waste a second.
