Meanwhile in the Kingdom Of The Dark Isles, there were 3 royal siblings getting ready for a big event. The first one was a teenage girl that had black hair with aqua blue streaks tied in a side braid, hazel eyes, and was wearing a purple shirt, gray jacket, navy blue pants, and black shoes. Her name is Hopelily Casperan, or Lily for short. She's the kingdom's queen.

The second person was a teenage boy with black hair with indigo streaks, hazel eyes, and was wearing a dark gray shirt, black jacket, gray pants, and black shoes. His name is Hisirdoux Casperan, or Douxie for short. He is Hopelily's younger twin brother and the spirit of the wild wood.

The third one was a teenage girl that had black hair with silver streaks, baby blue eyes, and was wearing a black shirt with a skull on it, blue jacket, gray ripped jeans, and purple shoes. She also had a blue pendant around her neck. Her name is Makayla. But now she's called Hevanora Kuryami. She is the twin's half sister.

Makayla was actually busy helping out with work inside the castle while the twins were handling the courtyard. They were guiding the castle staff about where to put what as well as deciding on certain activities for the event.

"Man, I forgot how much work it was being a leader." Lily said exhaustedly. "Almost makes me wish I was still trapped in the moon."

"Oh really now?" Douxie asked with a playful smirk. "I can easily arrange another 1000 winters inside the moon for you."

"You think you still have enought power for that?" Lily teased. "Try me, old man."

"You know we're twins, right?" Douxie asked still playing along with the teasing. "So, if I'm an old man, then you're an old lady. . .right?"

"Touche, little brother." Lily smiled as she gave an approving nod. "Anyway, I think we're just about done here."

"Me too!" Shouted a familiar voice. When the twins looked over, they saw none other than Makayla running up to them.

"Oh, hey Light bulb." Douxie smiled. "Done already?"

"Yep, my work has been done." Nora said happily.

"Wow, that was fast." Lily said amazed. "How? You're usually the last one done with anything."

"Well, I got a text from Krel." Nora said while handing Douxie her phone. "And I thought we could take a break and hang out with our friends. Like we used to."

"Nothing would please me more, light-bulb." Douxie smiled before giving a sad sigh and handing the phone back. "But there is still work to be done."

"Let me help!" Nora volunteered. "I work quick and am great with people."

Douxie and Hopelily exchanged confused looks before looking back at their half sister.

"I was queen for 4 years, Doux." The black and silver haired girl said seriously. "Clearly, I can handle whatever it is your guys are doing out here."

"That's okay, even between the three of us the work is still too much." Douxie explained honestly. "Besides, I don't want you to miss a date with Krel."

"There's always a reason?" Nora asked, now starting to feel left out. "Isnt there?"

"Light-bulb, what are you talking about?" Douxie asked with a nervous chuckle.

"It seems like you're trying to avoid me." Nora said honestly. "Why don't you ever want to hang out with me anymore?"

"What?! That's not-" Douxie tried to say before being interrupted.

"True? Isn't it?" Nora asked now sounding angry. "Ever since we stopped Shadow and freed Lily, it's like she's the only person you want to hang out with!"

"Nora, I. . ." Douxie tried to get the words out but didn't know how to respond. He thought for a moment before trying to find the right words. "After I broke the curse on the Kingdom, We've spent almost every second of everyday with each other. And I wouldn't trade that for anything."

"Then, why won't you come with me now?" Nora asked. "You and Lily both, take a break."

Douxie let out a small sigh. "You don't get it do you, sister? I don't think you need me like you use to."

"You see me as a burden?" Nora asked feeling a little hurt by the response.

"No, no, not at all. You mean more to me then you could imagine." Douxie smiled placing his hand on his sister's shoulder. "But, we both need to go on with our lives. Figure out who we are, apart from each other."

"Yeah, but, you know how hard it was for me to fit in without you?" Nora asked, tears starting to form in her eyes. "Everyone saw me as a freak! I had nobody! Until I reunited with you and got my memories back!"

"I understand, believe me. Especially considering my memories were still intact." Douxie said honestly. "Do you know how hard it was to know who you were and what we've been through, but for your sibling to not remember you at all?"

Nora thought for a moment and opened her mouth to speak, but before she could say anything. . .

"Twinsie, this event won't plan itself you know." Lily interrupted.

"Right, I'll just be one more moment." Douxie reassured his older sister before turning his attention back to his younger one. "I have to return to work. Sorry, sis it's just the life of a full time royal. But we'll hang out tonight, promise."

"It's okay, I understand now." Nora said with a smiled as she whipped her tears away. "I know you'll always be there for me when I need you, right?"

"Of course. I'll always be there, not matter what." Douxie smiled. "In the words of the late Tobias Domzalski, 'It was the two of us at the start'. . ."

"It'll be the two of us, at the end." Nora said finishing their friend's old saying.

With that said, Douxie walked off to continued to do his work. While Nora headed out to meet Krel, however she still couldn't help but feel left out.

Little did she know was that things as she knew it was going to change for the worst.
