AN: sorry for not updating I've been busy with keeping my grades up lots of homework cross country+ meets I'm really sorry. I'll try my best to update at night I've just been really tired lately. ((Graces pov))
Kaity and I decided to go for a walk to the park, so we got dressed. I put on some jean shorts a purple cat shirt. And my blue sneakers.
Kaity walked out of my bathroom, with long black pants, black converse, and her Pierce the Veil sweater. ((AN: I wish I had on I would die for one))
I smiled at her beauty, and took her hand in mine, as we walked outside to the park.
We were almost there, when Kaity saw something or someone to make her jump.
I looked at her confused. Then looked at what she saw.
Her parents.
"Do you want to turn back around?" I asked, turing myself a little. Kaity stopped me from turing.
No. I'm not letting them ruin our good time. Not again.
"Okay.." I said, wrapping my arm around Kaitys shoulders, causing her to flinch.
We kept on walking, and as we were about to pass them. They yelled out
"FAGGOTS!"
Kaity looked down at her feet, and I made her look at me.
"Want to go home now?" I asked, looking into Kaitys eyes, as her face went red, tears starting to fill her eyes.
No. I could use the fresh air.
I wrapped my arm around Kaity again, and we walked over to the big water fountain.
Kaity sat on the edge of it, admiring the beauty of it.
It's beautiful.
"Like you" I said, sitting next to Kaity.

"Why would you wish for something that's already true" I said.
((Kaitys pov))
"Why would you wish for something that's already true" Grace said, taking her finger making me look at her. I bit my lip, my heartbeat getting faster.
I'm no used to being called 'pretty' and I don't understand why my heartbeat is getting faster.
I opened my mouth to say something, then closed it. When I saw the two dicks I fear most. Walking towards us.
I can't stay here.
I scribbled down. Then taking off, as fast as I could.
"KAITY!! COME BACK!!" I heard Grace call for me, as she started to run after me.
But I just kept on running faster and faster into the woods.
Once I was far away from the park, I was looking for a good tall tree for me to climb. As I was looking, I saw my parents.
"You didn't think we didn't see you. Or follow you did you." Dad said, grinning.
I started shacking with fear.
"Don't be scared. Come home where's it's safe with your parents" mom said.
I shook my head no.
I'm probably going to regret that.
I started to walk backwards but my dad took off after me, and I just froze. My dad grabbed me by my hair, and started to beat the fucking shit out of me.
My dad fist meeting my face over and over again. My moms feet hitting my sides. My dad turned me on my stomach, putting his foot on top my back I couldn't get up. My mom crouched down looking at me just tell me things I already knew.

Waste of time
Waste of space

Much more.
My dad hit me a couple more times, before ditching me, by myself.
I sat there and cried, my fucking eyes out.
Why me.
I laid on the ground, curled up. I started coughing when I heard leaves crunching which got me scared I started backing away from the noise.
"Kaity...... Shh it's okay it's me." I heard a familiar voice say. I opened my non swollen eye, and saw Grace rushing toward me.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here. I couldn't find you and I got lost then I-" Grace said, before I cut her off but pressing my lips against hers. We pulled apart, more tears going down my face. The pain rushed through me with every movement. I got up slowly, with Graces help.
Grace picked up my whiteboard and marker, handing it to me. She wrapped her arm around me, helping me walk back to her house.
"I love you" Grace said, kissing my cheek lightly.
"I love you too" I said, clearing my throat, laying my head on Graces shoulder.
She smiled at me talking.
I love that smile.
