Mark followed the doctor. The two walked into jacks room.

Mark walked in Jack's room.Jack was hooked up to all these machines.

Mark frowned and walked over to Jack's bed. The doctor left the two alone.

Mark grabbed Jack's hand that hand the ring on it and kissed it. He looked at Jack, "I love you, Jacky. I'm never gonna leave your side. I'll stay here as long as I can.".  "I-i love you, too " jack muttered in his sleep

Mark was startled by the answer and smiled a little as he blushed.  Jack smiled in his sleep

Mark kissed Jack's forehead and smiled more. Jack smiled more in his sleep

"Do you want me to sing you a song, love?" Mark asked softly. Jack nodded in his sleep

Mark smiled, "Alright." He started, " Heading down south to the land of the pines,  I'm thumbing my way into North Carolina. Staring up the road and pray to God I see headlights, I made it down the coast in seventeen hours.Picking me a bouquet of dogwood flowers And I'm a-hopin' for Raleigh, I can see my baby tonight". Jack smiled in his sleep

" So rock me momma like a wagon wheel, Rock me momma any way you feel. Hey momma rock me, Rock me momma like the wind and the rain. Rock me momma like a south bound train, Hey momma rock me" Mark sang softly.  Jack started to slowly wake up

Mark stared at Jack, waiting for him to open his eyes. jack opened his eyes and looked up at mark

Mark smiled at Jack, "Hey, love..". jack smiled, "h-hey mark" he said

"How are you feeling, darling?" Mark asked. "tired" jack said softly

"But are you alright?" Mark asked grabbing Jack's hand. jack nodded

"I was so worried, Jacky. Thank god you're okay" Mark kissed Jack's hand. jack blushed and smiled warmly

Mark smiled at Jack, "I love you so much.". "i love you too " jack said smiling
