☁︎ this was honestly a pain to put together I actually almost got rid of it but I love charlie so much and he deserved better. in this charlie and mackenzie joyner who is played by janet montgomery became quick friends when mackenzie moved to forks about a year and or so before bella comes back, they met when her rebellious son, greyson meade who is played by finn wolfhard, who she had with her ex husband, was caught smoking in a parking lot with a few older boys while mackenze was at work at the local hospital where she worked alongside carlisle cullen. upon this meeting charlie and mackenzie were taken with each other but of course nothing happened other than a few thank yous and have a nice days were exchanged.

☁︎ greyson was soon caught again doing the same thing a few more times, the last time was when charlie finally had to courage to ask mackenzie on a date, which she accepted. the night of the date charlie never called nor showed up due to his nerves getting the best of him. mackenzie had already thought it would be too good to be true, she did however take it to heart and was a bit hurt but she had decided not to dwell on it. greyson however doesn't want his mom to give up on charlie telling him he's finally someone who cares.

☁︎ charlie is desperate to make it up to her and even comes up with an excuse to come to the hospital to see her. when he does he tries to explain to her what had happened and mackenzie tells him that she understands and if he'd like to try again after they both got off work which charlie excepted happily.

☁︎ the two begin dating eight months or so before bella moves back and once she does the two are introduced and immediately hit it off. mackenzie and greyson end up moving in a bit afterwards as well, around the time edward's takes bella to play baseball.
