Headcanon that though Sky is commander of an entire army he's too nice and soft hearted to hurt anyone. Ty does that for him.

The Sky army was well respected in Minecraftia. In fact, it was the largest army in Minecraftia. It was all run by Sky himself, with... Help from his friends. He was everything a team leader needed to be. Fair, kind, energetic. He wasn't too patient but made the best strategies when dealing with squids. Not to mention his strength was phenomenal. Mitch swore he saw Sky break obsidian to recuse fellow recruits from a squid prison.

When it came down to fighting, that was a different story. Yes he was excellent in fighting, wielding the most op butter sword, but using it to harm was out of question. In any hunger games they played he would immediately apologize after a game, even to strangers. He refused to kill for fun unless it was necessary. With squids it was ok, they weren't players in Minecraftia. If one was on the squids side, he'd avoid them.

Most saw it as a strong weakness, mostly planning to use it to pull him out of his regime. They forgot one factor, his boyfriend.

What Sky saw in him no one really knew. Ty was unpredictable, overprotective, cunning, and clearly had built up rage. He can be patient and kind when needed, but that was out of the question when Sky dragged him to a parkour at three am. He had his own army, the dead army. They were like hellhounds on a leash. When the two teamed up, the squids had no chance of survival.
