Warning: I added lyrics. They're slightly changed from the original. As soon as you see it you'll know the song. Just go with the flow :3c

"I'm surprised this place is still clean."

Ant looked over at Sparkles, a playful smirk pulling at his lip. The two decided to visit their old hide out back in their younger days. It was a carved out hole the size of room hanging onto the Nether ceiling, the only way reaching it was to climb into a wither fortress. Glass was placed on one side, looking out onto the sea of lava and ghasts. Sparkles made it so they could look out, and no one could look in.

"There's no spiders and it's too hot for dust," Ant pointed out, going over to where a bunch of blankets were piled up. They were light pastel colors, the pigment lost due to the brightness of lava. Sparkles walked over to a small shelf that was on a corner, seeing burnt up paper. He half laughed, holding one up.

"Guess I hated drawing."

"You're good at it shut up. I bet it was math," Ant scoffed and walked over to him, looking at the shelf himself, Sparkles set the paper down, turning to Ant. He wrapped his arms around Ant's waist, beginning to hum. Ant rolled his eyes but went along, placing his hands on Sparkles's shoulder, being careful of the scars on his right side.

By then Sparkles had taken a step back, moving Ant with him until the two were dancing slowly to whatever Sparkles was humming. Ant went along, a smile staying on his lips.

"We used to rule the worlds," Sparkles sang softly. Ant scoffed quietly, knowing the song instantly. He changed the lyrics all the time, but Ant never said a thing about it. He instead rested his head on Sparkles shoulder, relaxing.

"Crowds would cheer when you gave the word." Sparkles nudged his shoulder, getting Ant to look at him with an annoyed glared which only made the other smile more.

"But now that we have been overthrown," Sparkles voice got quieter, making Ant strain to listen. He slipped into his thoughts, the sound of screams and the smell of ash filling his senses. Sparkles had to nudge him again to bring Ant back, slowly pausing their dancing.

"We sweep the worlds we used to own," Sparkles voice faded out, making Ant look at him concerned. Sparkles took his hands into his, kissing the palms.

"Let's head back. Syndi must be worried."

Ant nodded and intertwined their hands, pulling him out of the room. Passing through the doorway, the sides where the doors was cracked as if they were ripped off from the outside. The door laid on the Wither's castles floor, shattered by something strong. Ant felt his mind slipping again to the past, chest tightening in fear.

It was safe now, there was no need to worry.
