Anyone celebrating the overturning of Roe VS Wade is ignorant of what this truly means for our society. This isn't simply a right to abort issue, this is a women's' issue. This is a right to safe medical care. This is the right to not have the abortion done by some back alley hooligan posing as a doctor. That is the reality, it will happen because that is what happened before the ruling for Roe VS Wade went into effect. Women had no right to choose. And back alley abortions were a reality. Dirty medical equipment and quack doctors charging through the nose. Women using wire coat hangers to try and abort the baby themselves and causing irreparable damage to themselves in the process. Women died or were left unable to have children because of these procedures. This is what they've opened us up to once again. We have lost the right to choose. We have lost our free will.

This is not simply a right to abortion issue and if you believe that you're ignorant of the reality of what this ruling means to women.

Democracy is truly dead when they use a constitutional right as the basis to revoke this ruling, then turn around and use the SAME argument to uphold the right to carry concealed weapons. Because "it shouldn't be up to a states to decide". That is the argument they used in both rulings, same argument. One to destroy rights and one to uphold them.
