March 7- Hundreds of thousands of teachers, students, parents, and community members stood in front of the high school with rally signs demanding that local high schooler and resident, Gwendolyn, to be banned from the school district.

When approaching the angry townspeople, one could hear the chants of 'Save Our Kids!', 'Keep The Killer Out!', and other crude comments. Our community leaders were also seen there, some carrying signs like majority of the town. While others stood in groups, indecisive about what to do.

When two top editors and I approached the house where Gwendolyn lives, there were multiple groups of people with signs. The same signs as the school. Gwendolyn and her older brother, Dervik, were not home. Her mother let us in but refused to comment.

She did however offer an explanation and statement, "Gwendolyn has done somethings I'm sure she regrets, but she is my daughter. All the signs and horrible comments are rude and very mean. And I refuse to let her be treated as such. That is why, I have decided to do one of two things. Have her tell her side of the story, or have her move out of state. Out of sight, out of mind. Thank you."

Once we went live on the story, our Twitter blew up with comments. Including this one, that is anti-Gwen, "Does Gwendolyn's mother think that just by moving Gwen to some rehab place or another state, she would be 'Out of sight, out of mind'?! You can't put some accidental murders (or almost murders) into a corner and expect people to forget about it! Especially when one of the victims was well known in the town and beloved by all. Put her in juvie. Put her whole damn family in jail!"Here's another from the pro-Gwen side, as they've been calling themselves, "Why is there so much hate?! It was an accident! Over 125 people die everyday from car-related accidents! The accident with one of the victims, cheerleader Rosie McDonalle, started with a car-accident cased by her. What was she doing? Texting and Driving! Don't blame Gwen for going to see her friend in the hospital! Rosie was the one who got herself worked up about it. Not Gwen! Leave her alone and hate somewhere else. As for Gwendolyn's mom, she abuses Gwen and Dervik. That's why her husband lives elsewhere. Don't blame Gwen for anything! Blame her mother!"

Which side is correct?

What will happen to Gwen?

Keep reading, we'll be updating the story hourly.
