He let go and fell.

That was five years ago.

Gwendolyn needed to learn how to let go.

He was gone. It didn't matter anymore if she loved him more then she showed. Or that when she told him that she hated him, she really meant I love you with all my heart.

He was the sun, the moon, and the stars to her.

And yet he was gone.

Taken from her. Taken from the world.

If she had just made the ropes more secure, he never would have fallen. He'd be there to hold her in his arms. He'd also be there to share ice cream sundaes. Like they used to.

Gwen shook her head, clearing the thoughts and regrets about him gone.

She needed to focus.

She had a test to take. If she failed, she'd be shipped to that horrific boarding school near the coast.

That could not happen.

Sheets were passed out and the timer was started. Gwen took a deep breath and started the questions.

Shit, she thought, I didn't study for this! Hopefully I don't screw this up!
