The call was a complaint for domestic disturbance. Nothing much, but we went to investigate anyway. As we arrived at the house, some other deputies were outside asking questions to a group of people. Based on their clothing and movement I'm guessing they were the people who called. Adorabat joined in asking questions and one of my best deputies walked up to me. Tanya Keys, a female tanuki with a green scarf and leaves in her hand.

"Aha! Tanya, just the tanuki I was looking for. Fill me in on the details." I said.

"Well someone called saying they heard a scream coming from the house next door." she replied.

"Who got here first? I'd like to talk with them."

"No need whiskers, I was the first one here. Me and that guy." she replied as she pointed to a male dog who was talking to the suspects with my sister.

"Which house did the scream come from?" I asked.

"That one over there." she said pointing to a fairly large house.

We walked up to the house and knocked on the door. Some loud shuffling in the house could be heard as someone came to the door. The door knob turned and what I saw broke my heart.

"H-Hey Sheriff, Officer Keys, what seems to be the problem..?"

Standing in the doorway, with an obviously nervous smile was none other than Nick Stokes...
