we were only kids,

kids who knew better of themselves

but decided, fuck it

i'm young, though we never really intended to fuck up our own shit

and everything fell apart

we got broken into pieces

and left lying on the pavement waiting for anyone to pick us up

pat off the dust and rebuild us from bottom to top

but i guess  none of that matters now

no-one really ever questioned why or how

except for people like us
