Raat ke 10 baje

It was complete dark outside and Meerab was standing in balcony sometimes staring at her engagement ring and sometimes she was looking at the star lit sky . In the background a soft music was playing.. it was her favourite album from the movie jab we met ..

All this while she was just thinking about the moments she had spent with Murtasim during their shopping or on the day of their engagement it was all bliss . She was constantly smiling like a fool playing with her engagement ring .

As she was just cherishing her moments when someone came inside her room without making any noise . When he came to the room he heard a song playing and the owner of his heart was absent and after finding her in the balcony watching the moon and star lit sky .

The man went there very carefully not making any ounce of noise , a pair of hands covered her eyes . It was so sudden that she almost shrieked but when she inhales a woody and vanilla scent from the person standing behind her she got relaxed his arms immediately leaning her head on his shoulder .

Meerab : oh god murtasim kya tum bhi dara Diya na , esa kon karta hai hmm ? Abhi chilla deti ya tumhe hurt kar deti toh ? She said taking off his hands from her eyes and turned towards him facing his front .

Murtasim: oops sorry, I had no intentions to make you scare sunshine , I just wanted to surprise you Sachi .. he said pinching his fingers on his throat .

Meerab looks at him and thought how cute he was looking like that . Murtasim clicks his fingers in front of her and she comes back to the reality and says " chalo koi ni it's okay maaf kiya but yeh toh Batao surprise kis liya ?"

Murtasim: Haan surprise , per pehle thodi der yahi rehta hai na acha lag Raha hai yaha tumhari baahon main , please...

Meerab smiles looking at him making a cute demand to stay in her arms for a while and nodes in yes .. then again she looks infront of her in the sky .. his arms were on the railing and her's was on top of his , her fingers were playing with his rings and with other she had entwined them , head on his shoulder and his chin placed on her shoulder together they were admiring the moon and in the background a perfect romantic song was being played...

After sometime she spoke breaking serenity of the silence that was way too soothing to even break ..

Meerab : Murtasim ab chalein na , I want to see the surprise you planned , you know I just love surprises but you are not even telling me what's the surprise .. I am just excited to reveal the surprise you got for me .. she chided with glee ..

Murtasim could see the clear joy and expression of excitement for the surprise.. "acha chalo mera sath khud hi chal kar dekh lo kya hai aur batana kaisa laga tumhe . "

Meerab : per kahan? Confusion etched on her face.

Murtasim: kyunn ... bharosa nahi hai mujhper ? He chided at her .

Meerab : esa kyun bol rahe ho bharosa hai tabhi tumse shadi kar Rahi hun , yrr maine toh esa hi out of curiosity puch liya . Tum toh bura hi maan gaye ..

Murtasim: acha baba naraz mat ho , chalein phir ? She nodes but says immediately after looking at her night dress ..

Meerab : Oh nahi , Murtasim ruko ruko let me change first esa thodi jaungi .

Murtasim: Arey yrr mera sath hi toh ho bhar thodi jana hai yahi hai hum and he took her hand again in his and he was about to move out but she stops him again saying ...

Meerab : murtasim jo bhi ho I am not going anywhere in this night dress , khud toh shirt and pants pehn ker aa gaye ho aur main esa jaungi no way 🙅 .

Murtasim: acha baba chalo theek jao change kar lo i will wait here for you but Jaldi aana .. she hummed and went to washroom to change her dress .

She came out wearing a blue kaftan looking cute and beautiful as always..

Murtasim looked at his cute patootie with a wide smile and admiration in his eyes ..

"ab chalo I am ready .. when she saw he wasn't responding , she said a bit loud with exasperation Oye murtasim esa kya dekh rahe ho acha nhi lag raha kya ? " Meerab asked him with unsure about her look ..

Coming out of his dreamland and watching her calling he holds her hand in his and said "don't be doubtful about yourself ever Meerab you look beautiful and gorgeous in every look you adorn , for me you will always be haseen o jameel , just look at yourself from my eyes though when in doubt wear red ..." he said winking 😉 at her with shimmer in his expressive eyes .. she smiles and holding him from his arm she moves out of the room as the they were moving out in the background a soft tune was playing ending the moment perfectly ..

Soon murtasim takes her to his / their room ..

His room

Upon entering to his room he closed her eyes again and began walking towards the balcony slowly while her hold on his wrist tightened slightly so that she doesn't stumble down . With the help of him she reached to the entrance of the balcony .

When she opened her eyes removing his hand , slowly adjusting her eyes to the lights blinking. What she was seeing in front of her eyes she couldn't believe her eyes .

Jhoola , a swing in the centre of the open balcony placed meticulously which was decorated with precision . Off white Cushions were placed in the centre, left and right and in-front of them a warm matching blanket was kept in the middle and those fairy lights were looking like stars up in the wooden ceiling . And few light lamps were kept on the foot of the wooden floor with few plants . The decor was simple yet elegant and looking beautiful. She took few steps forward and she was instantly felt mesmerised by the scene unfolding in front of her .

Then she saw a tray kept on the small coffee table covered with a cloth . She looked back at murtasim , he gestured her to look herself what lay beneath the cloth . Slowly , she removed the cloth from the tray and looking at the delectable delicacies kept in front of her a big smile appeared on her lips immediately.

Looking at her favourite lip smacking sweets that she was denied to eat in the whole day that made her smile fade and sadness took its place. Now she was feeling so excited all over again when she saw all of them in front of her she just couldn't contain her happiness lacing from her eyes.

She jumped and squealed in delight and joy 🤩.. she threw herself on murtasim from behind giving him a tight hug and kissed him on his right cheek pressing her lips a bit more than required.

The moment she realised, she blushed and shyly tried to get out of his hug but this time Murtasim didn't let her go but his hold on her thighs tightened and slowly pulled her in front from the back resulting her arms tighten slightly around his neck and legs were in the air so that she doesn't fall away .

"Pehle pata hota ki thank you Aisa karogi to be mrs khan toh aur ache se date plan karta humari ." Murtasim said kissing her nose . she just closed her eyes and hid her face blushing in the crook of his neck .

Then he slowly kept back on her foot but still didn't left her waist .

" Acha murtasim ek baat toh Batao tumhein kaisa pata chala ki mujha yeh sab mithaiyan pasand hain maine toh kabhi tumhe iss baare main nahi bataya and how did you know I am craving them ?" Meerab asked

" Bas pata chal gaya , tum khush ho na voh zada mayena rakhta hai sunshine ." Murtasim said lovingly looking at her face.

"Phir bhi batao na kaisa pata chala , maine toh tumhe iss baare main kabhi nhi bataya ?" She asked him again wiggling her brows with curiosity .

" Arey baba tum bhi na , acha chalo bata hi deta hun actually kya hai na uss din tum mall main yeh sab mithai dekh ker kitni khush ho Rahi thi jab hum sabke liya le rahe the , I so wanted to ask you if you wanted any but tumne mujha mauka hi nhi diya Mithai li aur chal padi aage phir kal bhi tum kitna chav se mithaiyan kha rahi thi itni Khushi , voh muskaan, voh tumhari in badi Badi aankon main Chamak hi kuch aur thi that really made me wonder that kya sach main mithaiyan kisi ko itni Khushi de sakti hai , but when I saw you eating them like you won't get them again it proved me my point right that yes it can make sense it can give joy to someone who loves to eat sweets . " he explained her with a smile 😊.

"Acha badi gehrai se dekha hai tumne mujha , well you know I have a sweet tooth so , I love to eat sweets .." she said playing with his shirts button .

"Ab to be mrs khan main apki har baat , har cheez ko ghehrai se nahi dekhunga toh aur kon dekhega and you know jab aaj subha Anila Chachi ne tumhe aur mithai khane se mana kar Diya toh mujha tumhe sad dekh ker khud sadness feel hui jaisa unhone mujha mana kiya ho , you know I feel connected with your even the smallest of the things you feel . So that time only I thought to make you happy with your favourite sweets in my way and then I planned this .." he said again with mock seriousness.

" oh my gosh murtasim !!.. tumne mera liya itna sab kiya , just to make me happy oh my lord !! .. I just can't believe it ki koi meri choti si choti Khushi dekhna ke liya itna kuch kar sakta hai thank you , thank you so much tasim you are the best ..." Meerab said with tears filled in her eyes .

Murtasim didn't hear anything except for his name tumbling out from her plum pink lips .

He made her look at him " what .. what did you say ?" He asked astonished..

" thank you?" She said unsure about it .

" No dear what did you just call me ?" Even she didn't realise what she really called him . It just came out involuntarily.

"Tumhe pasand nahi aaya kya ? " she asked him biting her lower lip . But he didn't reply but pressed a kiss on the side of her lips . She was shocked on his sudden reaction. He nuzzled in her neck and inhaled her fruity fragrance getting lost in her essence while she arched her neck closing her eyes in bliss giving him access for more .

She was so liking these little moments with him . She was feeling lightheaded with his feather like touch of his lips on her sensitive area of her neck . She involuntarily clutched his shirt's collar and other hand was on his shoulder.

Slowly he faced her while panting hard , out of breath.. " I like you , I really like you a lot to be biwi .." Murtasim said leaving a shocking Meerab staring his face without blinking her eyes .

"I LIKE YOU !!.." the only words were repeating in her mind . She didn't say anything or reacted any way . All she did was staring into his dark brown beautiful orbs that were shining in the moonlight.

Murtasim cupped her face " I know it might be soon for you . But not for me , I know you might be thinking how can someone like a person in just few days. That too when the two barely met each other in the past . But you know I feel that my connection to you was set by our lord in heaven I can feel it in our chemistry. You might think that I have gone mad but it's true even yesterday when I said about my feelings in front of everyone that was what I always have felt for you but I just realised it so I thought to tell you again today in person , I always pray to god and thank him for giving me the most cherished human being .." he just wants to tell her what he felt and realised yesterday after they got engaged to each other.

" matlab?" She asked still looking at him without blinking.

" No darling , I know tumhare man main bhut se sawal honga but tumhe pareshan hone ki Zarurat nahi hai . Mujha Abhi pyar ka toh pata nahi but itna janta hun ki mujha tum bhut pasand ho jaisi bhi ho meri Meerab ho aur qayamat tak meri hi rahogi . Per in future I want us to love each other the way we are . Phir chahe uske liya hume ek dusre ka Kitna hi wakt tak wait kyun na Karna pade as much as we are together pyar hote hota ek din ho hi jayega na sath rehna zaruri hai uske liya and i will make it possible any how .." he poured his feelings with so much emotions that it stirred her heart spilling tears out from her big almond eyes watching that he wiped her tears and pressed his lips kissing on her forehead lovingly and in response she leaned into him a bit more closing them to feel in the moment of love 🧡 .

She was feeling like she was flying in the sky around the clouds making herself the most luckiest girl alive on this earth . She found her safe heaven, her home , her guardian angel while Murtasim found his solace , his personal home , his sukoon . For him she was his sukoon ghar ..

Coming out of the embrace they sat on the swing . Murtasim was sitting with his one leg hanging and other leg folded under the first one . On the other side Meerab was sitting beside him , legs hanging down motioning the swing to move in slow pace. She kept her head on his shoulder wrapping her arms around his bicep 💪 while his arm around her shoulder and head was on the top of her head.

There was a comfortable silence between them . They were hearing each other's steady heart beats rhythmically beating in sync complimenting each other.

Few minutes passed away when he felt that Meerab was pulling and playing with his sleeves which was folded on his forearm. He looked down looking into her eyes . She was biting her lower lip again as if she wanted to say something but was hesitant 😬 to say. He moved a bit and turned towards her and she too looked up at him .

"Tell me , what is it ?" He asked holding her hand a bit tighter this time .

She looked down and said , " woh .. woh tumne mujha voh toh khilai hi nhi .."

He looked at her knitting his brows in confusion, when he didn't say anything, she pointed out her finger towards the table . He turned to look at the table and there was a giddy smile playing on the corner of his lips . He definitely knew what she was talking about but planned to play dumb as he wanted to tease her .

Hiding his smile he turned towards her "what's there ?" He asked

" Arey voh samne " she pointed again

" yrr Meerab , Sidhe sidhe bolo na kya chahiya mujha kuch samajh nahi aa raha " he said faking irritation.

" kya yrr tasim, tum Kitna budhu ho na tumhe kuch Samajh nhi aata , main un tasty tasty 🤤 mithaiyon ki baat kar Rahi hun , tumne mithai toh khilai hi nhi mujha . Itna tam jham karne ka kya phayeda agar kuch khilaya hi nahi toh .." she complained like a child.

He smiled widely and pulled her cheeks as she was looking so cute and adorable 🥰 with that little pout on her lips .

Then he picked a big tray full of all her favourite sweet delicious delicacies and kept between them meticulously .

" Ab batao , pehle kya khana pasand karogi miss Meerab " he asked

" gulab jamun .." she told him without wasting a single thought. He smiled at her excitement and picked a piece of gulab jamun and made her eat .

Meerab closed her eyes savouring the flavours of soft gulab jamun . Gulab Jamun is more than just a candy dessert for every sweet lover; it is the perfect blend of smell and taste. The fragrance of roses and cardamom offered by this tawny coloured spongy globe is simply irresistible.

Murtasim kept looking at her with adoration. Once she finished she looked at him expectedly as he asked for the next and she asked for kaju Katli then Rasmalai . Just like that she tried all of them one by one that too from his own hands . Once she was satisfied she asked him which sweet he wants to try .

"Jo tumhe acha lage wahi .." he replied with a grin. She thought a while and then picked jalebi .

Taking a piece of jalebi from the thal and taking her hand near his mouth made him eat . When her hand was near his mouth he didn't let it pass just like that . He held her hand and put it in his mouth licking its sugar from her fingers. Annnnd our poor Meerab went all blushy , her apple cheeks painted red like roses blossomed in the garden all over again .

Keeping the tray back on the table he picked up a glass full of water and gave it to her and then he himself drank the remaining water from the same glass.

After keeping the glass on the table he sat back properly. Meerab was lost in her own thoughts when Murtasim suddenly kept his head in her lap , lying there comfortably.

Meerab felt really happy by his simple gesture. She was feeling all types of butterflies of the world in her stomach at that time . The month of march bought the soothing winds in Hyderabad making it a lot more pleasant and relaxing, refreshing them at night .

His eyes closed while hugging her from her waist and his face buried deep into her stomach. Meerab was running her fingers into his soft locks of hair as not able to keep her hands at bay from those silky black raven locks .

As to her Murtasim was looking very cute lying on her lap , so slowly she bends her head down to his level nuzzling her nose with his nose she kisses his forehead pressing her lips softly like a butter . This act of her made him smile 😃 genuinely and happy from his heart .

"HASRAT HAI KE UNKO KAREEB SE DEKHEIN ,
KAREEB HO TOH AANKEIN UTHAI NAHI JATI ..."

" Acha murtasim tumse ek baat puchun? She asked to which he hummed in question.

"Tumne achanak se mujha I like you kyun kaha ?" She questioned him.

Murtasim with a jolt opened his eyes sitting back . Thinking her question might upset him so she spoke again
"Nahi mera matlab tha ki logo ko jab mohabaat ho jati hai tab voh apni feelings ka Izhaar karte hai aur tumne toh tab kaha jab tum mujha sirf pasand karne lage ho aur phir kal bhi bhi toh tumne sabke samne izhaar kiya tha na sirf yahi baat nhi hai tum subha naraz the na toh achanak se yeh sab ka kya sujha ? " she cleared her points looking a bit nervous.

"Arey nahi sunshine tumne kuch galat nhi pucha hai jo itna ghabra Rahi ho tum meri Meerab ho Himmat wali , intelligent, honsle wali , kabhi kisi se na darne wali aur Rahi baat mera naraz hone ki toh I was just upset with the morning view .

I saw you and haya bickering about something making your already sour mood more bitter . It made me realise that uska yaha hone se tum kitni uncomfortable feel karti ho , the way she makes you feel unwanted and tries to instigate against me I can see it makes your blood boil in anger but you can't help but ignore things to maintain peace at home .

And I was not able to make you feel comfortable and wanted in the first place in the presence of her too so , this wasn't making me settle down about it . I was mad at myself that it should be me to make you feel special and I realised that I am not just marrying you for the sake of the family but spending my time with you made me like you a lot I guess even more than like you I don't know what is it right now but I feel for you deeply today I realised it clearly that if you are with me I can change the whole world for you .

So, I wanted to confess you about all my feelings may be they are very little at this stage but I wanted to tell you every single step of my feeling I carry for you so I wanted to plan a perfect date for us . To be honest watching you this enchanting every single day and glowing more and more made me again realise that apni feelings batane ke liya koi jagah mayne nahi rakhti balki voh insaan aur uss insaan se judi humari feelings zada mayne rakhti hai that's the reason I planned a small date for us here in my room itself . "  Murtasim explained or say expressed his feelings in such a subtle way that stirred something inside meerab's heart fluttering lots of emotions within for the man sitting beside her .

As Meerab was all speechless 😶 after whatever he confessed to her she was just looking at him with wet eyes already .

With a little tease 😜 he spoke again "And what could be the private place than this , where no one would come to disturb us ."

She looked up with moist eyes. Her soft lips brushing his jawline. They looked into each other's eyes with utter joy of shared sense of love . With that he just kissed her forehead out of gratitude and love she pours into his heart.

This was the last straw to hold back her tears 😭 which slipped away on her bubble cheeks while the smile was dancing on her lips rent free. Watching those traitorous tears slipping down her cheeks making her even more cute but he was the one who can't bear her crying. He softly wiped her tears away from the pads of his thumb looking into her beautiful hazel blue green eyes reflecting all her emotions that her lips couldn't say .

Leaned her head and kept her forehead on his chest she whispered a series of thank you's for loving her this much ..

In response of her thank you's I replied her " And you know the best part? " he had a sparkle in his eyes while smirk 😏 was tugging his lips when she looked up into his eyes not breaking the hug . She squinted her eyes in confusion not able to understand his teasing looking so innocent at that time .

He bent down a bit closer to her ears to whisper "I will always have some of you for myself everyday whenever I get it .."

Upon understanding his quote her eyes widened like a saucer at his shamelessness . She slapped his chest hard for saying such things so shamelessly coming out of his hold .

As he whined, " Ahh ... yrr sunshine lagti hai ... " while laughing she spoke " Haan toh lagne ke liya hi Mara tha , tumhe lagni hi chahiya you are so shameless tasim ".. saying so she hugged him back with a wide smile 😀 yet the blush was still glowing her cheeks under the moonlight .

Suddenly he stood up and started doing something in his phone . Keeping it back on the table he came towards her . She kept looking at him cluelessly when he forwarded his hand for her to hold his hand for a dance like a gentleman.

She questioned him wiggling her brows ..

"Dance ? My lady?" He asked ..

" with pleasure " she flashed her teeth grinning like a Cheshire Cat taking his hand gracefully and stood up .

As she stood up close to him she spoke "but there is no music "..

Taking his phone he played a song 🎶 ek ajnabi Haseeb se ..

The song was playing in the background while Meerab was smiling ☺️ uncontrollably now .

"Haan , kyun nahi ho sakta kya ?" He asked wiggling his brows .

As they were slowly moving with the music , his hands were on her petite waist and her hands were resting on his neck or say hanging lazily still looking into each other's eyes .

She closed her eyes while he cupped her cheeks and kissing her crown 👑 while she closed her eyes taking in all his love for her .

Then she leaned in standing on her heels as her height a but low to his and kept her forehead on his with a smile never leaving hers while he holds her from her waist and supports her weight on him .

Then after coming out she said " thank you so much for everything Murtasim , it really means a whole world to me , I really enjoyed this date with you, I will be looking forward for more dates with you, it was the best night I ever spent with you. "

" The pleasure is all mine sunshine, I will never forget this day ever and I too will be grateful to arrange such wonderful dates with my girl hereafter. Acha now you go back to your room it's late night you might be sleepy 🥱.. he asked in concern .

"Please let's stay here some more time na , abhi neend nhi aa Rahi .." she said make a pout ..

She giggled 🤭 at his quip and nodes .. she stayed in his arms and played with his shirts buttons while he was just playing with her hair soothing the tendrils.. she let out a soft sigh 😮‍💨 feeling really relaxed at what he was doing .. slowly his melodious sound of his heartbeat , working of his fingers on her head with the swing going back and forth lulled her to go into dreamland making her eyes close ..

When Murtasim saw Meerab has slept in his arms , a soothing smile appeared on his lips and have a quick kiss on her temple and said ..

"good night, sweet dreams my dear love " he replied

" hmm .. man nahi kar raha ab jaane ka good night , sweet dreams tasim .." she said in sleepy voice and slept snuggling into him even more so he picked her up carefully in his arms to not wake her up as she was sleeping peacefully in his arms . He left his room and upon entering her room he  laid her down on her bed gently , getting up taking off her arms around his neck and tucked her into the duvet properly getting new found warmth but as she felt the loss of his arms she stirred but when he looked at her he patted her head soon slept hugging her teddy bear..

Here murtasim comes back to his room changing his clothes to some comfortable one and slept with the smile dreaming about their future together.
