Meerasim didn't bring up the topic again. They knew that if this conversation continues it won't end well. They rarely spoke in the hospital except speaking about his  health.

Maa begum didn't want any more complications in her son' s married life. She understood that, if  haya still remains in this house. Then things can get more complicated. So she orders nadara to find a suitable proposal for haya so that she can bid her off with mariyam. She cannot tolerate haya in this house anymore.

Murtasim was in the hospital for three days. Meerab used to stay with him the night and something through the day. With a lot of insisting of maa begum and Anwar she comes home for some rest. Maa begum  didn't give haya a chance  to visit the hospital to visit murtasim. She tried many times to visit the hospital to have one glance of murtasim. But couldn't as maa begum used to keep an eye on her.

It was the day of murtasim's discharge. Maa begum gave sadqa ( charity )for him and for his well being. During the night meerab let Murtasim sleep on the bed and she shifted to the couch. Murtasim looks saddened. He insisted her to sleep on the bed. As she may not get a comfortable sleep. He assured her that he won't cross his limits. After a lot of convincing meerab agreed and got back into the bed only after creating a barrier of pillows between. Meerab lays down and sleeps.

The next day Meerasim was in their room. Meerab was helping murtasim with his clothes. Just then someone knocked on the door. Meerab attends the door. She opens the door. Her eyes become moist looking at visitors. It was anila and Waqas. Meerab ' s past flashes in front of her. She immediately controls her emotions. " Who is it meerab ?" Murtasim says while coming towards the door. Waqas and Anila look towards him. " Waqas chacha ,anila chachi, please come in ". Murtasim welcomes them. Meerab gives them the way. She didn't maintain eye contact with them. " Anwar  said that you got shot. So we thought to visit you ". Anila explains. " How are you murtasim ?" Waqas questions. " Better ". Murtasim replied with a gentle smile. Murtasim could feel the tension in the air. He knew that he shouldn't be in this conversation. He makes excuses and leaves from there. The room was filled with silence. Waqas and anila had regret and guilt in them. Meerab broke the silence " i think you guys should leave ". Anila and Waqas look towards her. " You have come to meet murtasim , you have met you can leave now" meerab continues.

" No beta , murtasim was just an excuse, we had come to you ". Waqas says. " Our daughter " anila adds up. " Your daughter " meerab says in disbelief. " I think you are forgetting , months back you two disowned me by saying that I am not your daughter and now what makes you say that I am your daughter , haan ? " Meerab questions while expressing her anger. " You disowned me the time I needed you the most " meerab continues.

" Your anger is a justified beta but we had no other choice". Waqas says.
