SHIVAAY'S HOUSE

It was next morning. Shivaay was having his peaceful sleep.
After sometime, he woke up from his deep sleep with a cute smile adorning his face. But when he looked at the clock, his smile fades away because it was already 8:15 in the morning and his office starts at 9.

He sat up with a jerk.

S-Sh*t. I am late again.

He rushes towards the washroom to get ready for office.

SHIVAAY'S OUTFIT

S-No breakfast today also.

He smiles sadly because now he is somewhat habitual of his loneliness.

He was rushing to the main door when an angelic voice stops him.

A-Shivaay! Wait!

Anika shouts from the kitchen.
Shivaay turns around to look at Anika in a little messy state. She had some flour on her face and some on her hairs. But still she was looking mesmerising.

ANIKA'S DRESS

A- Shivaay, where are you going?

S-Wo.... I am going to office as I am really late today.

A-Shivaay, first have your breakfast, then you can leave because without having breakfast, I will not let you step out of this house. Come.

Anika leaves.

Shivaay was overwhelmed with her concern. He moves towards the dining area. He looks at Anika who was setting plates on the dining table.

She looks at Shivaay and says-

A- Shivaay, come and sit. I have already prepared breakfast for us.

S- Anika, please there is no need for you to do all this. You know you are my guest and still you are doing all these works.

Anika feels bad when Shivaay refers to her as 'GUEST'. Anika looks at him sadly and then lower her eyes. Shivaay was trying to read her expressions but failed miserably.

S- What happened? Kya hua?

Anika looks at him and says-

A- Kya main aapke liye sirf ek guest hoon, aapki dost nahi?

S- No. Anika, you are taking it all wrong. I didn't mean that.

Anika looks at him hopefully. Shivaay continues-

S- You are my good friend in fact very good friend. I meant to say that you are my guest also and on top of that you are unwell, so you don't have to do all this, I can manage all this. Today I was getting late for office that is why I was rushing.

A-But Shivaay I like to do all this for you. You know after Gauri, you are only my friend.

She smiles sadly while looking at Shivaay. Shivaay understood her inner turmoil and says-

S- Theek hai, meri maa. You can do whatever you like, but please don't get sad.

Anika smiles lightly.

S-You know, tumse koi nahi jeet sakta. Ok. Lets see,what have you specially prepared for me.

Shivaay removes the lid from the bowls and smiles to see the food.

ANIKA'S TEA

A- Wo.. Actually I am not good in preparing Indian food, so I prepared this.

S- Its Ok, Anika. You know its been long that I had pasta.

Shivaay takes the first bite of red sauce pasta and he was surprised after having such a delicious pasta.

S- Anika, you know, you are an amazing cook. I have never eaten something this perfect.

Anika smiles at his compliment and says thank you . She starts sipping her tea. Shivaay noticed that she is drinking tea.

S- Anika, why are you having tea today? I mean yesterday you had coffee so....

A- Oh that! I drink coffee sometimes but tea is my all time favourite, especially with elaichi(cardamom).

Shivaay smiles after hearing her because cardamom tea was also his mom's favourite. He can somewhere see the shadow of his mother in her.
Finally, after finishing their breakfast, Shivaay was ready to leave for his office.

He moves towards the living room and picks up his office bag and bike keys. He moves towards door and Anika follows him.

Shivaay stops at the door and turns towards Anika and says-

S-Anika, please take rest. Don't do any work. Lock the door safely and if somebody knocks at the door, then first see through the window before opening it.

A-I know, Shivaay. I can manage alone. Don't worry.

Shivaay smiles at her and leaves for his office.

Anika smiles sadly looking at his retreating figure because she was again alone for the whole day. There was two other pairs of eyes who have witnessed the whole scenario.

She turns around to move inside the house, when OmRu comes in front of her. She was scared with their sudden appearance, then smiles after seeing them.

R-Hello didi.

O- Hi Anika.

They said in union.

A- Hi OmRu.

R(teasing) - So bha.... I mean didi, what are you doing here?

A-Wo...I came to bid bye to Shivaay.

R-Hmmmmm... O... Suna didi was bidding bye to bhaiyya..

O- Of course Rudy!

Anika blushes unknowingly. Anika tries to change the topic.

A- So, you both here?

R- Didi,today is our holiday so we came here to spend our whole day with you.

Anika smiles brightly.

A- Really?

O-Yes. I know you will get bored after Shivaay leaves for office so here we are to accompany you.

They move towards the living room to sit and gossip.
