ANIKA'S LEHENGA (Assume that her face is covered with a veil)

Dadi looks at Anika and puts a black dot behind her ear to save her from evil eye.

Anika smiles at her.

Dadi holds Anika's hands and makes her sit on the middle sofa.

Ladies were keenly looking at Anika.

D- So lets start the ritual.

The ladies nods.

One by one all the ladies lift her veil and looks at her face, then gave her gifts and blessings.

Everyone was praising Anika except few ladies who looked annoyed.

L1- Kalyani, your daughter in law is very pretty.

L2- Of course, our Shivaay is very lucky.

D-Its just because of your blessings.

L3- But don't feel bad, why Shivaay got married so suddenly and that too without informing anyone?

L4- Yes, you are right, Why this sudden marriage? Is something wrong with this girl or is she expecting or something?

Anika looks at her shocked.

K- What are you saying ? There is nothing wrong with Anika. This marriage is so sudden because of some circumstances.

L3- Kalyani, you don't know these types of girls. These girls act innocent and then they take advantage of the situation and marry innocent boys like Shivaay for their money.

L4- Ok, if nothing is wrong with her, then why her parents are not here in this function. Atleast they should have attended the function for their daughter's sake.

K- Shut up, I have called you all here to bless my daughter in law, not to say rubbish about her.

L4- You are not believing us now but you will regret your decision when this girl will show her true colours. One day she will run away with all your money and you will be left with nothing.

Shivaay, who was about to enter the hall, heard this. He moves towards hall and looks at Anika who was crying continuously and Dadi who was fuming in anger.

S- What did you just said? Anika will run away with my money?

L4- Yes, Shivaay beta, I am warning you about this girl. Leave her. I am telling you my daughter Sheila is best match for you. She will keep you very happy.

Anika was crying while listening to her bitter words. Shivaay goes near her and side hugs her and Anika hides her face in the crook of his neck.

S- Hmm. So you are saying that your daughter is a perfect match for me but I saw her with a boy in the shopping mall in the morning and then she was with another boy at the chaat shop in the evening. I don't want to insult her but the girl who is so confused to choose her love, then how she will live with me for whole life.

L4 face colour fades away.

S(to L3)- And you are saying that Anika will run away with my money, then you are totally wrong because she herself is owner of crores.

S- Dadi has called you all here to bless my wife, not to badmouth about her. And dare you say anything wrong about her, then you will face the wrath of Shivaay Singh Oberoi. I hope I am clear. Now leave. I said LEAVE.

The ladies leave from there.

D- I am sorry, Shivaay. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki woh sab aise....

S- Dadi, please. Why are you saying sorry? It was not your fault.

D- Puttar, I will leave now. Anika needs you.

Shivay nods and Dadi leaves.

Shivaay caresses Anika's hairs.

S- Anika. What happened? Look at me.

Anika nods in no.

S- Look at me, jaan.

On hearing jaan, she looks at him with teary eyes.

Shivaay cups her face.

S- Look I am here. Nobody will say anything to you. I will always protect you.

Anika looks at him and bursts into crying.

A- Shivaay, please believe me, I am not bad. I am not taking your advantage.

Shivaay caresses her face.

S- I believe you in fact more than myself. Please don't bother about those ladies, they have a habit to badmouth everyone. Don't think about them.

A- You know Shivaay, whenever I try to move on from my past, something happens which makes me remember that I am an unlucky child who did not got the love of her parents.

She again bursts into crying.

S- Shhhh..Anika. Please don't cry. You know na that I can't see tears in your eyes.

Shivaay caresses her hairs gently. After sometime, Anika calms down and looks at Shivaay.

Shivaay smiles at her.

S- Are you fine now?

Anika nods with a smile.

A- I will go and change. This lehenga is very heavy.

Anika was about to go when Shivaay holds her hand from back and pulls her towards him. He encircles his hands around her.

Anika looks at him with confused look.

A- What happened?

S- I forgot to tell you one thing that I lost something.

A- What?

S- My heart, to you.

Anika blushes.

S- You know you are looking very beautiful today. I just can't stop looking at you.

Anika's cheeks gets more red in colour. Shivaay smiles.

S- I love this red colour on your cheeks more.

Suddenly Shivaay kisses her cheek. Anika gets shocked and looks at Shivaay.

Shivaay smirks at her expression and frees her from his hold.
Anika keeps her one hand on her cheek which Shivaay kissed. Shivaay smiles naughtily.

S- I think now you should change.

Shivaay leaves the hall.

Anika finally comes out of the shock and realises what has happened. She blushes to the deepest shade of red.

She moves towards their room to change her clothes.

After changing she comes to the kitchen.

ANIKA'S OUTFIT

A- I think I should start preparing dinner now as it is already 7:30 p.m.

She starts preparing dinner.
After preparing dinner, she arranges everything on the dining table.

A- Where is Shivaay? I have not seen him since 2 hours.

She looks for Shivaay everywhere in the house but did not find him. Finally she finds Shivaay at the terrace, busy on a call.

SHIVAAY'S OUTFIT

S(on call)- Atleast, listen to me. How can you do this?

The person on the other side of the call disconnects the call.

S- Lis... Hello... Hello...Shit.

Shivaay sits on the swing with his hand on his head.

Anika moves towards him and keeps her hand on his shoulder.

Shivaay looks at her and composes himself.

A- Shivaay, are you fine?

S- Ye...Yes...I am fine. What will happen to me?

A- No you are looking tensed.

Shivaay gives her a fake smile.

S- I am absolutely fine, Anika. No need to worry. Acha, what happened, you are here at the terrace?

A- I was finding you to call you for dinner.

S- Ha.. Dinner. Come lets go. I am very hungry.

While having dinner,Shivaay was lost in his thoughts.

Anika notices it and keeps her hand on his hand.

A- Shivaay, are you sure that you are fine?

Shivaay looks at her still lost in his thoughts and nods.

S- Food is really good, Anika.

Anika smiles at him.

After completing their dinner, Shivaay leaves towards their bedroom and Anika moves towards kitchen to complete the remaining chores.

After completing her work, Anika moves towards their bedroom. She enters her room to look at Shivaay who has already slept. Anika feels weird.

A- Shivaay slept so soon. He is behaving little different from the evening also. I think he must be tired.

She shrugs her thoughts and sleeps beside him.

As soon as Anika sleeps, Shivaay opens his eyes and looks at Anika.

S- I will make everything alright, Anika. I will not let you suffer.

He kisses her forehead and drifts into sleep.
