Shivaay finally reaches home. He rings the doorbell and Priyanka opens the door.

P- Bhaiyya, Thank God you are home. Bhabhi is really tensed for you and she has not eaten anything after you left.

S- What? Why is this girl so stubborn?

He hurriedly moves towards their bedroom and chuckles after looking at the scene in front of him. He saw Rudra was convincing Anika to eat something and his face was painted like a joker and he was making funny faces to lighten up Anika's mood.

RUDRA'S MAKEUP & HIS FUNNY FACES

But Anika was giving him tough time.

R- Please bhabhi, eat a little. Look I became clown for you, still you are not eating.

Rudra makes a puppy face. Anika looks at him with a frown.

A- But you did not told me that where is Shivaay.

R- Bhabhi, he will come but first you have to eat something.

Anika again nods in no and turns her face to other side.

Shivaay goes and stands near the bed.

S- Anika! Why are you not eating anything?

Anika immediately turns her face and looks at Shivaay with a bright smile.

A- Shivaay! Where were you? You know I was so tensed for you.

S- Anika! I had some work.

He says without looking at her. Anika senses something wrong.

A- What work, Shivaay?

S- Nothing just an office work.

Shivaay was continuously ignoring Anika's gaze while Anika was looking at him intently.

S- Amyways, why didn't you had your food? You know it is not at all good for your health. How can you be so irresponsible? First this accident, now this. You have to understand, you can't be careless with your health. For having food also, you need me. You have to understand that I cannot be present every where with you, but you...

Shivaay was blabbering everything without looking at Anika. Anika understands that something is wrong with him so she holds his hands and Shivaay stops abruptly and looks at her.

A- Shivaay, are you fine? Is anything wrong?

S- No. Everything is fine.

Priyanka and Rudra understands that Shivika want some privacy so they leave from there.

A- You are lying Shivaay.

S- Wh... What? I... me.. Mean... Wh.. Why wou... Would... I... I.. Li.. Lie?

A- Shivaay, please tell the truth. I know you are hiding something from me. I am observing you from last few days. You are looking very tensed.

S- Nothing like that Anika. You are just assuming things.

Shivaay starts looking here and there. Anika holds his chin from her hand and makes him look at herself.

A- Really?

Shivaay keeps mum.

Anika holds his hand and keeps it on her head.

A- You have my swear, tell me the truth.

Shivaay looks at her shockingly.

S- Anika!

A- I want the truth Shivaay.

Shivaay goes and sits beside Anika and side hugs her.

S- Anika, I know the truth will be very difficult for you to handle but please always remember that I will be always there with you, no matter what.

Anika nods her head.

S- Anika, this acci.. accident.. I.. Me.. Mean...

A- Say it cleary Shivaay.

S- Anika, your accident was not unintentional, it was a pre-planned murder attempt.

A- WHAT?

Shivaay nods at Anika.

A- But why will somebody plan my murder?

S- Anika, the culprits behind your accident are none other than Tej Malhotra and Swetlana Malhotra.

Anika looks at him blankly. She shows no movement and was sitting still. Shivaay gently caresses her shoulders and a lone tear escapes from her eyes.

Shivaay made her sit in his lap and hugs her tightly from back.

S- Anika, I am with you.

Anika puts her face in the crook of his neck and starts crying hysterically. Shivaay kisses her head and gently caresses her head.

A- When I was with them, they never loved me, in fact made my life a living hell. Now when I am far away from them and have broken all the relations with them,why they want to kill me. Do they hate me so much that they can't even bear my existence. You know what now I hate myself for expecting love from them.

S- Shhh! Anika, please don't cry. They got their punishment.

Anika looks at him with a jerk.

A- Punishment?

Shivaay nods his head.

S- I know Anika, they are your parents and you won't like to see them suffer but what they did with you was unforgivable plus they committed a crime so I filed a complaint against them and they are arrested.

A- No Shivaay, they are no more my parents. I always tried to become best daughter but they always loathed me and when they did not consider me as their daughter then I will also not consider them as my parents. You did right by making them arrest because jail is the right place for criminals.

Shivaay realised that more than being angry, Anika was hurt. Shivaay hugged her tightly. After sometime, Anika calms down.

S-Ok. You wait here. Till then I will get something to eat for you.

He was about to get up but Anika stops him by holding his hand.

A- Shivaay, I know this is not the whole truth. There is something more which is bothering you so please tell me.

S- Anika, there is nothing. Trust me.

A- Shivaay!

S- Ok. I lost my job.

Anika was shocked with the revelation.

A- What? But how.. I.. Me.. Mean?

S- Mr. Malhotra created a fiasco in the company in which I worked and blamed me. Boss trusted him because he is a big businessman and boss threw me out of the company. You remember that day when I was talking on the phone at terrace.

Anika nods.

S- That day, my colleague called me to inform me that boss fired me from the job. The next day I went early to the office because I wanted to talk to boss personally and prove myself to him but he did not believed me. In fact, Mr. Malhotra has proven me fraud in the whole business world and now it is very difficult for me to find a job. I lost everything Anika! Everything! My respect! My dedication! Everything!

Shivaay breaks down and cries hysterically. Anika was also crying. She hugs him and rubs his back to calm him down.

After few moments, Shivaay wipes his tears and cups Anika's face.

S- Anika, if you want you can go back to your life. I will not force you to stay with me just because we are married. Anika, please go back. I won't be able to give you a luxurious life. I am a very bad choice for you. I have nothing left with me Anika. I am zero. A failure. You don't have to suffer by staying with me. Please leave me and go back. If you want then I will divorce you and you can marry a big businessman. Yes, this is right. I will divor.....

Shivaay was speaking hysterically as he was not in his senses. Anika was trying to stop him but he was not readt to stop. Suddenly his words came to a halt when Anika slapped him hard. Shivaay looked at her and started crying. Anika instantly hugs him.

A- Shivaay! Please calm down.

Anika breaks the hug and holds his hand.

A- Shivaay how can you think that I will leave you alone in difficult times. I know our marriage was not done in a proper way but still I promised myself that I will not leave your side, even in difficult times also. Get that straight in your pea-sized brain.

Both chuckles at the last line.

S- But Anika...

A- No ifs no buts. I know this is difficult time but we will manage somehow. I trust you.

S- You know, you are best. We will definitely do something. Ok now, lie down quietly and I will bring something for you to eat. You have to eat everything without any tantrums.

Anika makes a puppy face and nods.

After having their dinner,they drift into sleep in each other's embrace.
