The picture in the frame held a lot of memories. Some good, some bad. Her eyes roamed over it one last time before she kept it aside.
She closed her eyes remembering those memories...

It was about 2 years ago..

A girl came out from her college when someone kidnapped her. She was very scared & shouted for help too, but they already took her in the van.

Sometimes later, when the kidnappers opened her face they were shocked coz she is not the one they wanted to kidnap.

Kidnapper 1: Oh no, vidyut we kidnapped the wrong girl. Boss won't leave us now.

Vidyut: Right ballu, it was first kidnapping of boss & we did a blunder.

....: What blunder you guys did?
They heard a stern voice of their boss who came forward & looked at the girl. Her scared face, those innocent eyes filled with tears. Soon his stern expressions changed. While vidyut & ballu is scared of his scoldings, they notice that their boss is smiling looking at the girl. He came into his senses when the girl started crying.
The boss immediately bend to her level as she is tied on a chair.

Boss: Hey, I am sorry. I didn't said anything then why are you crying? Plz don't cry.

Girl: Why you kidnapped me? I am not rich to give you money. Plz let me go.
She said while trying to control her tears.

Boss looked towards vidyut & ballu angrily. Then looked towards her again.

Boss: So sorry, I didn't meant to kidnap you. It was just a silly mistake of my friends.

Girl: Don't lie, I know you have some bad intentions.

Boss: No, I'm not lying. See I will open these ropes also.

Boss: Myself Neil..
He forwarded his hand towards her.
But she is not even looking at him.

Neil: I said I'm sorry, it was just a mistake.
He looked towards vidyut & ballu.

Vidyut: Ya ya, we are also sorry. It's our mistake.

Girl: It's ok. But I want to go back now.

Neil: I will drop you home myself. But first you have to forgive me please.

Girl: It's ok.. Galti to kisi se bhi ho sakti hai. So I forgive you

Neil: Thankyou so much. Ah.. woh.. you.. I mean may I know your name?

Girl: Avni..

Neil: Beautiful name.

Vidyut: But why are you looking that side, boss is standing here?

Avni: Because I can't see..
This statement dropped as a bomb on neil. He looked at her shocked.

Neil: I'm sorry, I didn't knew that.

Avni: It's ok. What if I can't see but I can feel everything.

Avni told neil to drop her in a flower shop.
It's her father's shop, but now she manage it.

Ballu: It was our first work today. That girl's boyfriend gave us money to kidnap her & we had to leave her next day without any harm to just scare her. But everything went wrong. Now he won't give us money also.

Neil: Relax guys, koi baat nahi. Galti sabse hoti hai.

Vidyut: But we can't afford any galti this time bhai. We are not rich like those people who don't get affected with such small mistakes. We are orphans and not even educated to do some job so this kidnapping is the last option for our survival.

Ballu: That girl was also wearing same colour dress. So we thought she is the one..

Neil: Exactly, she is the one.

Vidyut: Neil yaar, what's happening with you? I am noticing, you were staring that girl also. She can't see, but we are not blind.

Neil: I think.. I think I am in love.

Ballu: KYAAA???

Vidyut: Woh ladki.. what's her name.. Haan avni..

Ballu: Are lekin woh to andhi hai..

Neil: Oye, don't you dare call her blind ballu. She can't see, but she is a beautiful soul. Don't know what happened to me, but the time I saw her I instantly felt something which I'm sure is love. Maybe love at first sight.

Vidyut: Oye hoyeee, apne bhai ko pyaar ho gaya yaar.

Ballu: Abe vidyut, just now you were worried about the money.

Vidyut: Are paise toh aate jate rahenge. But as I said we are orphans so I'll be very happy if neil gets his life partner.

Neil smiles & the trio hugged each other.

Neil: Hello avni

Avni: Hi neil, you here?

Neil: Yes, actually Haan i.. I'm here to buy flowers of course.
He smiled nervously.

Avni: Oh, which flower?

Neil: White lilies, it's my favourite.

Avni: Really, mine also.
She picked some lilies by feeling them with her hands and handed it to him.

Just then some peoples entered inside the shop. They seems to be like goons.

Person 1: Ae ladki, where is your old father?

Avni: Aaplog.. I told you na not to come here again. Papa is not well. Plz go from here now, can't you see there is a customer in the shop.

Person 2: We don't care about your customer. Listen girl, you have to pay back our money as soon as possible otherwise the consequences won't be good for you.
They left after saying this.

Avni just stood there silently.

Neil: What money they are talking about?

Neil: Avni, see yesterday i troubled you na. So today please give me a chance to repent my mistake.

Avni: Papa took loan from them & now he is very unwell. So I have to return their money otherwise they will snatch this shop from us.

Ballu: Isse better toh kidnapping ka hi kaam tha. Ek toh we are illiterate. Aur upar se halat dekho hamari. Gali ke gunde lag rahe hain. Kaun humko kaam dega??

Neil: Are tum dono ab chup raho. Us time maine itna nahi socha. I just wanted to help her. Don't worry, we will do something.

They went in many hotels & restaurants but seeing their get up & language no one gave them order of flowers.

Just then a idea struck in Neil's mind.
He smiles broadly.

Neil: Agar koi kaam dil se karna chaho, toh upar wala bhi zarur madat karta hai..

Next day, neil brings avni near a beach.

Avni: Kahan le ja rahe ho neil, atleast tell me the place?

Neil: Are tum chalo to pehle..

Avni: Kya hum beach ke paas hain?
She said after listening to the voice of water carefully.

Neil: Yes

Avni: But why on beach?

Neil: Listen, I promised you to help but mujhe dekh kar koi flowers le hi nahi raha tha so I thought ki why not we open a stall & beach se acchi jagah aur kya hogi.

He said dramatically..

Avni laughed loudly hearing him.
Avni: You know what neil, you are very cute..

Neil just looked at her smiling.
Neil: Haye ye muskaan, is hasi ke liye toh main kuch bhi kar sakta huin.
He said slowly.

Avni: Kuch kaha tumne neil??

Neil: Nhi toh.. come on let's start our work..

They both opened a stall there.
On the first day, they sold very less flowers. But they kept trying.
And slowly Neil's plan became successful as they started making a lot of profits. Like this, they also spend most of the time together.
Avni became very friendly with him.
Neil secretly admires her while doing his work.

Some month passed like this & now even avni started liking him. She enjoyed his company. He is very fun loving person while she is the sweet, innocent girl. Avni also settled her loan.

Then neil decided to propose avni. But he is very nervous, what if she broke their friendship also. Unaware that avni also have feelings for him.

On the beach. Today they just came here to enjoy the nature.
Avni is sitting on the sand, when neil's voice gained her attention. He is holding a mike standing in the middle, many people gathered there.

All this while neil was just looking at her while singing. Finally he gathered some courage & started moving towards her while saying..

Neil: This was for you avni. See, I don't know those filmy dialogues or how to propose a girl I don't know anything. I also don't know what's in your heart. But I just want to confess what I feel for you. And this song was the best to describe my feelings.

I am orphan avni, you already know that I didn't had any motive in my life just to earn & chill with my friends until i met you. In the first look, at the first sight when I looked in your eyes. Your innocence captured my heart. I knew it was love, then I came in your shop & I can't see you worried that's why I tried to help you. But it was also an excuse for me to stay beside you.

He bend down near her forwarding his hand towards her with a lots of hope.

Avni is just awestruck with his actions, her heart also feels the same for him. Not at first sight but she slowly fell for his sweet & caring nature, his pure heart.

Neil: Avni You are not blind, you can see the world with your beautiful heart. I promise avni, we will create a small & beautiful world of our own.

She hugged him.

The people gathered there also clapped for them.

Within few weeks, they married each other & started their new journey together.
One day, neil came home happily & lifted avni in his arms spinning her around.

Avni: What are you doing neil? Put me down.

Neil: Avni.. avni I won a lottery of 1 lakh..

Avni: Really, congrats neil. I am so happy for you.

Neil: And I already decided what I have to do with this money.

Avni: You can start a new business for you neil.

Neil: No avni, you will do your eyes operation with this money.

Avni: What no neil. You will start a business with this.

After a lot of efforts neil convinced her for the operation. And finally, after the operation avni can see the world now. She can see her neil, her life.

But seems like destiny have its own planning. Their happiness didn't last longer. Neil had an accident in front of her eyes & he died on the spot.

Avni went in trauma but then she got to know that she is pregnant.

9 months later, a baby boy born to avni & she got a reason for her survival.

She is living only for her son who is now 1 year old.

Those pictures she is holding are of her & neil, the time which they spend together. Those beautiful memories.

But how could she move on, it's impossible for her. She can't forget him ever. He was her life which ends just when it started.
