Let's go to the chapter.

It was the time of the early morning, the darkness was fading slowly. A girl was running on the road in a black tracksuit. Her hairs were up in a ponytail and were holding a water bottle in her hand. The sweat was dripping at her neck and was panting. She stopped and holds her knees. She was panting. Her head was covered with sweat and she gulps. She wipes the sweat from her head and closed her lips to gulp and there was a mole near her lip. Her skin was white and her hair was black.

Sindoor and Mangalsutra was not there.

Suddenly, she heard the shouting of a girl and she turns her face then she stood.

She heard: bachao, koi bachao.

The girl frowns.

On the other side, some goons were standing around the girl and were misbehaving with her and touching her. People were standing there but no one was doing anything, all were silently seeing the theatre. A man grabbed the scarf of a girl and she holds that in fear. He pulled her to him and catches her in his arm. The goons were laughing.

Girl: choro mujhe. Choro. Koi to bachao.

But no one moves.

The girl who was in a tracksuit, she came there and saw the dreadful scene. The girl saw the people and felt disgusting.

Goon: koi nahi ayega tujhe bachane.

Girl: choro mujhe.

Girl 1: sunai nahi de raha us ne kya kaha. Chor usay.

Everyone looked at her. The hazy image of the girl was seen.

Girl's lips were moving: kaan ki battery off hai kya?

Goon: usay chor den tu ayegi kya?

The girl smirked. Then the image becomes clear.

Girl: hath to laga ke dikha. Pakarna to bohat dur ki baat hai.

The goon left the girl and they all moved to her. One man moved to hold her and tried to catch her arm. The girl gave a kick on his stomach then she punched him and the goon fell down. One more goon came to her and tried to punch her face but she bends and moves at his back and kicked him from behind. Avni turns and two goons came to her together to catch her arms. The girl moved back. She stumbled on the wooden plank then she grabbed that and beats them all with that. She hits one man's leg, he bends then she hits his head with it and beats the second one. She beats them and they all were wincing in pain. Everyone clapped. She saw the people. The girl looked at the second girl and she goes to her then she grabbed her arm angrily.

Girl: ye bachao, bachao chilane se kuch nahi hota, koi nahi aata madad karna. Sab bus tamasha dekhte hain. Yahan itne log the koi aya tumhari help karne nahi na. Koi nahi ayega. Humain khud apne aap ko protect karne hoga, khud larna parega. Yaad rakhana ke shehar main rehne wala insani shakal main bhariya jungle main rehne wale bhariye se zyada khatarnak hai. Jungle ka bharijya tumhe tab hi khaega jab wo bhukha hoga lekin shehar main rehne wale bhariye ki bhook kabhi nahi mitati. Khud ko itna mazbot banao ke koi tumhari tarf ankh uthane ki himat na kar sake.

The second girl cries. The girl passed the wooden stick to her.

Girl: lo aur maro inhe.

The second girl looked at the goons and saw them wincing. She got the courage and took the stick, she goes and beats them. The girl was looking at her proudly. The second girl throws the stick and was panting, she cried. The first girl goes to her and hugs her.

Girl: bus, bus.

The girl called the police then she turned to see the goons and smirked. All were tied with the rope. The girl turned to the second girl.

Girl: main chalti hun, police ko call kar diya hai wo log aate hi honge. Ghabhrana nahi, ok.

The second girl smiled and nodded. The first girl goes from there by keeping her hands in the hoody.

The sun was shining over the big mansion. A lady was standjng in the lavish living area and was instructing the servants. She was wearing a dark blue colour saree and her hair were open. A maid was cleaning the vase.

Lady's lips were moving: Madhvi, abhi tak living area ki dusting nahi hoi, maa aati hi hongi aur unhe bilkul nahi pasand ke koi un ke samne dusting kare. Jaldi hath chalao.

The lady turned and saw an old man is standing by holding the flowers basket on his shoulder.

Lady: Kaka, aap ye flowers le kar abhi tak khare hain ja kar dusre vases main lagaiye, jaldi.

The man nodded and goes. The lady huffed.

Lady: subha, subha hi meri parade shuru ho jati hai.

An old lady lady came in the living area and she sat. She sets her saree. She was Dayawanti Mehta. The lady turned to her and smiled. She was Neela maa. Neela mas goes to her and took her blessing.

Nm: good morning, maa.

Dm: good morning.

Neela maa moved back.

Dm: Ashish kahan hai?

Nm: woh ready ho rahe hain bus aate hi honge.

Dayawanti Mehta nodded.

Dm: aur Avni?

Person: main yahan hon, Dadi.

They turned their face and saw Avni standing who was wearing a yellow off-shoulder top with black jeans. Her black hair was till her waist and was slightly curled. She was wearing a wide smile on her face and the nosering was adding charm to her beauty and the killer mole near her lip was complimenting her beauty. She came to them and captures her mother in a side hug and kissed her cheek, Neela maa also makes a pout.

Avni: good morning, mamma.

Nm: good morning, bacha.

Avni looked at her grandmother and she sat beside her and also hugged her from side and keeps her head at her grandmother's shoulder.

Avni: good morning, Dadi.

Dayawanti Mehta kissed her hair.

Dm: good morning, mera bacha.

Avni moved away and Neela maa saw the bruises at her hand.

Nm: ye tumhare hath ko kya howa?

Avni was shocked. Dayawanti Mehta also looked at her hand and was shocked. She held her hand.

Dm: ye kya howa?

Avni took her hand back: kuch nahi howa ye mamuli si kharoch hai.

Avni makes a face.

Nm: maa, wo Avni ki bhalai ke liye tha ta ke wo khud ko protect kar sake.

Avni nodded.

Avnj: Dadi, aap hi to kehti hain jo kalaa dusron ke kaam na aae wo kis kaam ki.

Dayawanti Mehta makes a face. Neela maa smiled.

They turned their faces and saw Ashish who was smiling and was ready in a suit. Avni smiled.

Avni: Papa.

Avni goes to him and hugs him.

Avni: good morning, papa.

Ashish: good morning, princess. And I am proud of you.

Avni smiled and they broke the hug.

Dm: aur bigar do isay.

They came to her and smiled to see each other.

Ashish: Maa, Avni ne jo kiya sahi kiya.

They understood what she is talking about. Ashish makes a face. Avni goes to sit with Dayawanti Mehta.

Avni: Dadi, meri shadi ki fikar aap mat kijiye wo to hone se rahi.

Trio frowns to hear Avni.

Dm: wo kyun?

Avni: kyun ke jaisa larka mujhe chahiye wo aaj tak paida hi nahi ho.

They smiled and looked at each other.

Neela maa smiled.

They smiled. Avni thinks and smiled.

Ashish and Neela maa also sat. Neela keeps the hand on her cheek to listen to Avni carefully.

Avni: Mujhe asa larka chahiye jo khud main army ho.

A police jeep stopped in the godown and two other jeeps were behind it. A man got down from the jeep.

Avni: jisay dekh kar villains thar thar kanpange.

All smiled.

The goons gulped to see him.

Goon 1: ye, ye to ACP Neil Khanna hai.

Avni: jis ki ankhon main apno ke liye bepannah pyar aur bure logon ke liye bepannah gussa hoga.

The kids were crying in fear, Neil's eyes soften to see them then he gives the deadly glares to the goons.

Neil's lips were shown: Bachon ko jane de.

Goon: warna, warna kya?

Neil grins his teeth.

Neil: warna marne ke liye tiyar hoja.

Goon: sab log dekh kya rahe ho maro inhe. Koi bache ke jane na pae.

The Goons ran to them. Neil was shown, he looked at them angrily and he took his position.

Avni: woh one man army hoga is ka bazo fulad ka hoga us ke ek punch se villain urta howa dur ja girega.

Neil punched the goon and he flies in air and fell on oil drum.

Avni: wo ek kick marega aur villain clean bowled  ho jaega.

Neil kicked the man and he falls.

Avni thinks. Neil was fighting with the goon. He punched one goon then turns to the other and also punched him. Another goon came to him and Neil kicks him. Neil was standing there with attitude and anger.

A goon came to him by holding the knife and attacked Neil. Neil moved back and the goon attacked him three, four times and Neil was moving back and then bent one time then he held the arm of goon and hits it. The knife fell from the hands of the goon and Neil punched his face, the goon fell down. Two goons came with the chains and attacked Neil who was moving back. They attacked and Neil held the chains and pulled them to him and held their necks and kicked the third one in air. Then Neil pushed them away and hit both goons to each other. They fell. Neil and other officers fought with them and arrests them. Neil goes to the kids, he and other officers opened the ropes to the kids. He sat and cupped the face of one kid.

Neil: aap sab log ko bilkul darne ki zarorat nahi hai aap sab bilkul safe ho aur hum aap sab ko aap ne mamma papa ke pass le kar jaege. DD.

DD nodded and he took the kids. Neil loved them and he got up. He was looking at them, he turned and sighed.

Avni: aur us ka apna alag hi swag hoga. Wo jab chalega to log usay dekhte hi reh jaenge.

A police jeep stopped outside the police station and Neil got down from it. People were standing there to file a report or some other work. The girls were staring at him. Neil was going in his swag by wearing head. Neil goes to the police station.

Avni: looks main theek thank ho to bhi chalega but behaviour acha hona chahiye jo baron ki respect kare.

Neil saw an old man. Neil goes to him and talked to him. The old man gave him blessings by keeping hand at his head and Neil smiled. The man goes with constable.

Avni: jo meri family ko apni family samjhe aur mujhse khane aur ghar ke kaam ki koi expectations na rakhe. Bus.

Madhvi: bus?

Avni: han.

Madhvi: ye bus nahi ye to bebus hai mera matlab ye to hona namumkin hai asa larka ho hi nahi sakta duniya main.

All smiled.

Nm: waise Avni konsi movie dekh kar arahi ho.

Avni: the illusion.

All laughed.

Avni: aur nahi to kya asa larka sirf illusions main hi ho sakta hai real life main asa larka to hone se raha isi liye to maine kaha ke meri shadi kabhi nahi hone wali.

Dm: is larki ka kuch nahi ho sakta. Pagal. Humara to pura parivaar hi...

Madhvi: pagal hai.

All looked at her. Madhvi was frightened. Avni and all looked at Dayawanti Mehta.

Madhvi: main, main jati hun sa, safai karne.

She ran then all laughed

Dm: ek se barh kar ek namuna hai yahan.

Avni remembers something.

Avni: oh no.

Neela maa frowns. Everyone was confused.

Avni: namuna se yaad aya, mere friends, mera college. Mujhe to college jana hai. Oh shit.

Avni ran then she came back with a bag and was keeping books in it.

Avni: main chalti hun, bye.

Nm: Avni, breakfast to kar lo.

Avni: nahi, mamma, late ho jaongi.

Nm: lekin.

Avni: canteen main kar lungi.

She meets all. Avni meets Neela maa.

Nm: Avni, ba...

Avni: Bye, bye.

Avni ran. Neela maa sighed.

Nm: ye larki bhi na.

They smiled. Dayawanti Mehta thinks something and sighed.

On the other side, Neil was going to his cabin but he stopped to hear the winces. Neil saw the goons in the lock up whom Avni beats. Neil frowned. DD came to him.

DD: sir, ek larki ne in ki ache se dhulai ki hai.

Neil frowned.

Neil: larki ne?

DD nodded.

Girl: ye log (Neil looked at the girl) mere sath badtameezi kar rahe the.

Neil: aap ne mara inhe?

Girl: nahi ek aur Didi ne. Wo actually.

She told Neil everything. Neil was listening by looking down and smiling. Neil looked at the goons and smiled to see their condition.

Girl: ase unho ne meri jaan aur izzat bachai warna to.

The girl looked down. Neil looked at her.

Neil: kuch howa to nahi na to phir ye sar kyun jhukana, sar to wo jhukate hain jo galat ho na ke wo jo sahi hun.

The girl smiled to see him. Neil smiled.

Neil: wo larki koi police officer thi kya?

Girl: nahi, sir, lekin wo bohat bahadur thi.

DD: sir ji, kya mara hai.

Neil smiled by looking down.

Neil: naam kya tha us ka?

Girl thinks.

Girl: Avni.

Neil: Avni. Hmm. Nice.

Neil looked at the girl.

Neil: Tumhara naam kya hai?

Girl: Jiya.

Neil: dekho, Jiya tumhe ghabhrana ki bilkul bhi zarorat nahi hai ab ye log tumhe kabhi pareshan nahi kar paenge hmm.

Jiya nodded.

Neil: DD, isay le kar jao aur formalities puri karo.

DD nodded and asked girl to come. Neil thinks.

Neil: Avni.

Neil looked at the goons.

Neil: impressive.

Later, DD sat on the chair in front of Neil.

DD: sir, us larki, kya naam tha... han Avni, us ne ache se software update kiya hai un gundon ka. Tote ki tarha sab qabool kiya hai.

Neil smiled by looking down.

Neil: impressive.

DD: yes, sir.

They smiled.

At the time of the evening, a bike entered the mansion where Khanna mansion was written on the name plate. The bike stopped and the boy removed his helmet. He was Neil. He set his hair and then he smiled to see his house. Neil heard the shouting of her grandmother.

Lady: o madam madona, kahan reh gai. Chai banane main itna waqt.

Neil shook his head and looked away. Neil smiled. He is habitual of these shouting. He got down from the bike and goes inside. Neil stopped at the door.
