Charlotte Mae Tanner was never expecting much to come from her life. She was just the side character, lost in the masses, bound to be forgotten. Her family pretends that nothing is wrong; that she isn't dying. She can't blame them. Charlie wishes she could simply ignore the inevitable, but she has accepted her fate.

That is, until she meets him.

After a trip to the hospital, Charlie finds herself in an alleyway. In a pile of trash is a human figure which is hard to miss because of the bright red suit, or onesie they wear.

Spider-Man.

And in that moment, Charlie's entire life flipped.
