IF THERE'S ONE THING YOU SHOULD know about Kourtney Eclipse, it's that she's never the one. Whether it's being picked in dodgeball or playing in the game that is love, Kourtney has never and will never be picked.

She's only ever been Lydia Martin's shy friend who somehow stays in popular circles, the introvert who hangs with the louder crowd, a strange phenomenon caused by her just wanting to be noticed.

Which is probably why last term she dated Scott McCall, actually falling for the adorable brunet. They broke up over new year, which left Kourtney at a stale mate with her heart broken.

At least, like Lydia said, there were hotter, better boys to date. Deep down Kourtney only ever wanted him.

When the new term commences and Scott makes first line, she's less than pleased. Especially when her new friend, Allison, starts dating Scott. Kourtney was too scared to tell her, and even if she had tried Lydia would've shut her up. Immediately.

And when Jackson starts snooping on Scott, Kourtney decides to join in to figure out how he got so good at lacrosse. Not that she cares.

The truth soon is revealed when she stumbles across wolves on the full moon, unknowing one is her ex, and her family spill the supernatural beans to her.

It turns out, the Eclipse family log all the secrets of Beacon Hills, knowing who is what at any point in time. The worst part? They are working opposite the Argents to protect and preserve the creatures that roam the night.

If she didn't have enough secrets, then add the fact Scott won't stop hanging around her randomly with no reason, asking weird favours. Just being around him is enough to make Kourtney feel as though she is back in his arms, even though she's no where near.

Or at least she thinks, because soon she becomes his clandestine –– his secret kept from Beacon Hills as it's forbidden to be with her.
