Gidget had always wanted to go out in the snow, but her owners wouldn't let her, due to her sensibility and safety. One night, Gidget was left alone. The small white teacup Pomeranian jumped out of the window of her apartment, bounces off the awning, and free falls through the air into a deep snowdrift that was filled with ice from a pipe burst. Without warning, she loses control on a wet patch of cracked ice and slams into the wall of a warehouse. Then, snow from the roof slid off and buried her and the ice gives way, causing her to fall into the frigid water. Christmas was just a day away when her owners returned and she was over-excitedly warmed up by the cozy fireplace with a full plaid blanket wrapped around her after getting pulled out of the icy water as she slept in a curled up ball with her eyes closed in her brand new heart-shaped dog bed through Christmas all day long.
