Sky gasped. Had she really taken out the leader? The crystal griffin lying unconscious beside her? Her gaze shot to the mark on his shoulder. It bore a black star. So she had taken the leader out. 

"Oh wait." Squiddy slapped his head. "There are two leaders."

Sky sighed.

Suddenly the griffin twitched and started to groan. Sky placed her hands on his chest and concentrated. She felt power flowing throughout her, and the power tingling in her fingertips, surging into the griffin. 

The griffin suddenly jumped to its feet. "What happened? What? WHERE AM I?? BLACK CLOAKS! WHERE ARE THEY?" he shouted, his head jerking around and his eyes bright. 

"AHH!" The other monsters screamed in dozens of monster languages and began shouting, "Our leader changed sides! Take them out!"

"Oh no..." The griffin shook his head. "...Sky?"

Sky explained what had happened to him.

"I KNEW THEY WERE EVIL!" tears blurred in his eyes. He paced, clearly stressed. 

"Wh-what's your name?" Sky asked.

"Oh, my name is..." the griffin took a deep breath. "Magnificent the III."

Sky gasped. Magnificent the III, king of the crystal griffins, had gone missing somehow and everyone had been searching for him. 

"Hi!" Sky said awkwardly. "Let's show these monsters a lesson, should we?" She created a sword from Skylite(rare sky stone) and got ready to take action.

"Let's goooo!" King Magnificent reared up and started to slash away the 1st wave of monsters.

Sky and her mounts did the same. "Wait! I have an idea!" Sky raised her hands and summoned some wind. She made the air around some creatures and raised them to the sky. They shrieked in surprise, and she dropped them from high up. No creature would survive from that high. 

Then she spotted another wolf charging at her. Then she realized that the wolf also had a black star and a band on it. 

She summoned the winds and air-chained the wolf, so the dog couldn't move. "I'm Azurecloud's daughter. You are also a creature of the sky, aren't you?" she whispered. When she was caring for King Magnificent, she had noticed numbers of wolves running in the sky, diving down to attack.

The wolf snarled in response. "Yes, but my master is the Black Cloaks!" he lunged and tried to bite Sky, but she was agile and dodged it. 

"Okay, you stay there doggie, and don't move!" Sky shouted and put another air chain on his snout. The wolf whined. 

Then Sky pressed the black cloak symbol and another bright flash blinded her. The wolf was free!

"WAAAAAAAAAH!" The wolf screamed suddenly and began to with. "AHHH WHERE AM I WHO IS THIS WHY AM I CHAINED AND WHY AM I HERE!!!" It screamed. "WHO WOULD DARE TO KIDNAP THE MIGHT KING SKYSTAR FROM HIS PALACE!!!!"

What? He was also a king? Sky thought in shock. "Uh, hi, I'm Sky, daughter of Azurecloud..." she repeated. 

"OH HI NICE TO MEET YOU!!!!!" The wolf jumped out of the chains and firmly stuck out a paw for Sky to shake. 

"Hi!" Sky said. 

"OH, AND WHY ARE THESE MONSTERS TRYING TO YEET US!!!!" King Skystar yelled. 

"WHAT?Oh no! Skystar has also changed sides! RETREAT!!!!" a monster shouted and he rushed for another mountain, the whole group of monsters following him, screaming. 

Sky exhaled and checked on her mounts. They seemed to be ok, and the other guardians were also ok. She checked on Squiddy.

"I'm fine!" Squiddy insisted, covering a big wound on his face, so his voice was muffled.

Finally, she checked on the two kings, the griffin and the wolf. They were all radiating power, so they were fine. 

"Me and King Skystar have agreed on something. We want to accompany you on your journey." King Magnificent suddenly said. 

"Really?" Sky whispered looking at them. Her mounts also scampered eagerly, nuzzling the two kings. 

"Yes." King Skylar nodded his head. 

"Thank you..." Sky hugged them both. 

"Aw!" Squiddy's muffled voice said. 

"Haha, stop that!" Nature laughed and applied some medication cream on his face. 

"Owwwwwww!!!!" Squiddy yelped and tried to move away.

"No, come back! You need your wounds to heal!" Nature rushed towards a fleeing Squiddy and yanked him back.

"Fine!!!"

"So, let's go!!" Sky yelled and the kings nodded. 

"The quartz is that way." King Magnificent pointed at an angle with his wing. 

Then the team rushed off.
