- ME AND MY SELFISHNESS, OH ME AND
MYSELF, WISH YOU NOTHING BUT A HAPPY
NEW VERSION OF YOU. (happiness, ORC)

"Take a taste of this!" Blaze whoops, "Blazing Chakrams!"

"W-Wait Blaze!" Solar reaches out to his friend. The circular weapons in Blaze's hand started to glow a deep shade of red, with steams of black ash coming from it. He took some time to process the information as Blaze suddenly charged towards the apparition, his chakrams on fire.

"Oh," Thorn merely extends his fingers, "Interesting."

Green, slimy substances appeared on the floor. But Blaze was too quick to stop his own momentum. He accidentally steps onto it, "Shoot!" He says, getting stuck. One foot was free, the other shoe being held back in the glue-like matter. "This is unfair!"

"Admitting defeat?" Thorn lolls his head to the right with an unfazed look, "Fighting is not all about brawns, kid." He chuckles, seeing Blaze struggle to free himself from the trap.

Blaze growls like an animal, "NEVER!" He uses the heat of his chakrams to melt the gooey stuff down and stomps his wet foot on the ground. "It would be a shame on my family if I did!"

The aura surrounding him changes.

Thorn took notice of it and drags his tongue across his bottom lip, "So you want to play dirty, hmm?" He takes a look at Solar and catches his eye, "You better move away," He gets up from his seat and pats his fellow kitty on the back, "If you don't want to melt."

The threat was enough for Solar to hoist the cat underneath his arm and make a run for it. "Good luck!" He shouts, to either of them. Seeing that his best friend had gone to safety, Blaze snorts at the comment. He doesn't need luck. He already has something more valuable.

"What's your plan, you cold turkey?!"

"T-Turkey?" Thorn chokes on the word, trying hard to contain his laugh. This isn't good, I should be serious! He told himself, but he couldn't help it. "I'll give it to you, salamander. I think that you'd make a good water pet too."

Blaze got even angrier, "S-SALAMANDER?!"

"Yep!" The green-eyed apparition teases, unable to restrict his childish side, "Your collar makes you look like one! I could probably fly with it as a parachute."

"You-!" Blaze wastes no time and once again, runs at full speed towards the spirit, using the momentum from his arms and jumping into the air from his toes. "I'LL KILL YOU!" He roars in anger, and unleashes his weapons in a cross-body motion.

The jagged, circular chakrams flew into the air, one targeting Thorn from the front and the other encircling him from the back. Blaze drops onto the floor with a knee down, "I got you now!"

Thorn shakes his head, "You let your emotions control you."

Right before either of the weapons could slice the spirit's head off, Thorn ducks, barely missing it. The chakrams clash against each other, cancelling out the friction. He took this as an opportunity, commanding his floating spirits to destroy the holistic weapon.

Immediately, the two dark circles latched themselves onto the chakram, splitting it into a million pieces, unaffected by the blazing fire. The pieces fell all around the spirit, not hitting him once. "You're down, kid." He says, raising his index finger to point at Blaze.

"Did you think I only had those?!" Blaze smirks.

Thorn said nothing, preferring to stay quiet and observe his enemy. He's like a wild animal. His actions are unpredictable, but he's too reckless and emotionally driven. Putting up defense against him wouldn't work..

He smiles, masking the malice underneath upon realization.

"What a surprise." He says, hiding a hand behind his back. Blaze let this go unnoticed and whisks two daggers out of the pocket of coat, setting them on fire once more. "I'll stop playing now."

"That's the spirit!" Blaze grins, "No pun intended."

Thorn crouches, swerving left and right as he avoids the swift attacks. A sweat beads on the side of his cheek, this boy's fast. He slides onto the floor and slams his shin onto the back of Blaze's ankle, earning a surprised yelp.

Both sides were busy analyzing each other; Blaze twists his body, avoiding the fall and pounces onto the spirit instead. Thorn moves to the opposite direction and elbows the boy on his back; hard. A deafening crack was heard in the room, alongside the boy's loud groan.

He didn't let this stop him though; I've been through much worse. Using the momentum he was falling, he uses his back leg to kick upwards, driving the heel of his foot onto the apparition's chin. Thorn scoffs at the pain, rubbing his bruised skin.

"Cih," Blaze helps himself up and hops two steps behind, creating a safe distance between them. He could sense that something was underneath him, just waiting for the perfect time. "You play dirty!"

Thorn hums, "I can say the same for you."

They stood there, glaring at each other. The clock ticks, being the only sound to resonate. "How do you know Solar?" Blaze's eyes narrowed, as he held the daggers at the direction of his nemesis.

"He was the one who came to me," The supernatural answers at once, "Why would you like to know, kid? It's confidential."

"Because he's my friend." Blaze glowers.

Thorn chuckles darkly, "You? A supernatural, being friends with a human? What do you think this is, the 18th century?" He retorts, "You're a fool for doing that, Blaze."

"Me a fool? Say it to yourself,

"Fine." The said boy retreats his raised blades, "Don't act like you're not related to one, Thorn." His lips turned downwards, eyebrows knitted together. "I was protecting him, and you know that."

"I suppose not? Not that I care enough~!"

"Thorn," Blaze says it in a warning tone. "You can't fool me. Nobody can. Not even you, the exceptional Number Six." He cocks his head and sheaths both daggers into their respective leather cases. "Tell me. Why are you with Solar?"

"It's none of your business." The spirit clenches his teeth together, "You're the one who has to stop meddling with my work. He's a client, and that's it."

"He's not just your guest." Blaze presses on, standing upright. "It's been 50 years since that incident. Are you trying to repeat that again?"

"No." Thorn's voice became small, and he rubs his arm. "No, I-I don't want to.." All the confidence was gone, and standing before Blaze was just a regular, scared boy. His eyes drifted towards the floor.

"Then stop what you're doing." Blaze consoles the younger boy, "You're going to end up in the same place you were, just like before. I don't want to see you that way anymore."

Thorn takes a step back, lowering his head.

"Don't do it." Blaze realizes, flashing his swords out in an instant. "W-Wait, what?" They wouldn't light up in flames. He didn't have the same, overwhelming andrenaline as before too. He looks up in horror to see the other boy holding up a metallic accessory.

"I. Got. You." Thorn pants with a eerie grin.

Blaze's body froze. I fell into his trap, again. He should've known that the Sixth Wonder would pull of an act and create a distraction.

"You need to be more careful when going against me in a spar." He shoves the power-induced earring into his pocket, "Now, what punishment shall I give you, hmm~?"

"T-Thorn!" Blaze couldn't move an inch. "STOP IT!"

"What's that?" The green-eyed supernatural laughs, his orbs glowing with haste, "Can't hear you! You said you wish to die?"

"That's not what I just sa-"

"Then I'll grant it!"

Flashes of green lights up the room, replacing whatever rays of sun was in it before. "Say bye-bye, Blazie!" Thorn giggles, enjoying the desperation etched on Blaze's face. "Now nothing will get in my way!"

Without allowing the boy to utter his last words, Thorn mercilessly snaps his fingers, letting the laser green light chop his supernatural friend into pieces.

"See you soon, Third Wonder." Thorn smiles.
