73. RemyLa Rhyme Form — Burnout

Days of just waking up to find
   More situations out of my control;
      I want to write today, but something happened, broke,
Or died, and now I'm stuck, confined!

Confined in other people's mess,
   I jump through hoops to repossess lost time
      Only to have it compromised with something else—
More drama—tension, more or less.

Less time for me to write or think,
   As false impressions fuel more hateful words
      For any reason—broken glasses, dead remote,
Driving too fast. I cannot blink!

Blink once, and now I'm in a maze
   Of interruptions, fights, a living Hell
      Where outer darkness freezes out my soul of hope,
Exhausting out my dying days . . .

(To be continued...)
