All roles for EskerClan will be like normal Clan rankings.
These are the roles for 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'.

Commander
The Commander is the leader of 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'. The Commander is the cat that is born with the special powers to summon 'shadow cats', which are used in battle.

Mate of the Commander
The Mate of the Commander is the second highest rank in 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'. They make decisions with the Commander, but the Commander decides the final verdict of any overall decision.

The General
The General is the third highest rank. The General is in charge of The Fighters, making fighting formations, battle training, and following through with any executions. They carry out the dirty work of the Commander, and are at their every beck and call.

The Officer
The Officer is the fourth highest rank. The Officer is in charge of The Hunters. They are in charge of bringing food back for all cats. When battles come around, they work with The General to prepare all cats for fights.

The Healer
The Healer is the fifth highest rank. They have knowledge of herbs and how to heal. Unlike medicine cats, they receive no prophecies or omens, as 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss' don't believe in any beings from above. They take on a Novice when they feel the time is right.

The Fighters
The fighters are the strongest and most buff and burly cats of 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'. They are courageous and show no fear in the face of death.

The Hunters
The Hunters are the more lithe and nimble cats of the Clan. They have powerful hind legs and are very agile. They are also formidable fighters when need be.

The Novices
The Novices are the cats that reach the age of four moons and start training under mentors. Novices are trained under Fighters or Hunters, depending on what they are chosen by The Commander to do. Novices receive full ranking at twelve moons old.

The Kit-Mothers
The Kit-Mothers are the expectant she-cats of 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'. They nurse kits to four moons old and then return to being their appointed ranks.

The Kits
The Kits are the cats under four moons old in 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'. They are confined to the Kit-Mother's den until they are old enough.

The Ancestors
The Ancestors are the members of the Clan that can no longer hunt or fight. They become storytellers of great battles, and make the kits learn respect and to devote their lives to 'The Cats of the Dark Abyss'.
