Shimmer lay in the front yard, feeling bad for what she had done. Her head raised, as she heard Poppy and Branch coming. Her tail wagged, hoping Branch would forget he was mad at her.

"It wasn't me, Poppy! I swear. It was the dog!" Shimmer's tail stopped, wagging, as she slunk away at the word 'dog', being used so harshly. "Yeah right. And the 'dog' made you tackle Officer Sparkleton?"
"I didn't tackle him. I was thrown into him, and yes... by the dog!"

"Oh please, Branch," Poppy said, walking away from him.
"Really. The kids were riding her, and... wait... the kids! Where are the kids!?" Branch said, suddenly panicking. "Gia Grooves is watching them. Now stop changing the subject."

She stopped walking, and turned to face Branch. "Seriously, how do you expect me to believe that a dog did all that stuff?"
"Do you not see how big that thing's gotten?" Branch said, gestering at Shimmer. "It can't even fit in the bunker anymore!"

"That's it! I don't want to hear any more, Branch. Go to your room."
"What? You're not my mother, you can't tell me to..." she glared at him, and he gulped.
"Ok..." Branch said. "I'm going to my room. But not because you told me to! I'm going to my room, because I want to go to my room." He walked into the bunker proudly, as if he had won the fight. Obviously... he did not.
