Once we had stepped out of camp and into the forest, I promptly fell down. To be precise, on my face. So when Lilykit, Stealthkit, and Crystalkit gasped, I couldn't see anything.

I pushed myself into a sitting position, say as I did so, "What is-" seeing it for myself for the first time. It was beautiful; It was humungous!

The forest stretched out around all sides of us, going as far as our eyes could see. I looked to the left, and the ground sloped up into the hill. I looked behind us and I saw camp. I looked forward, and the ground went straight. But when I looked to the right, the ground sloped downward sharply.

Crystalkit and Stealthkit took the lead, being the two warriors in our litter. "Let's go foward!" Stealthkit cried.

"Shhhh! The rest of ThunderClan might hear us!" Lilykit whispered adding, "And how will we get back, anyway?" As an afterthought.

"Don't worry. Well just go back the way we came!" Crystalkit assured us. Lilykit looked at me, her face still full of doubt. We exchanged a look, wondering if Crystalkit really was sure we could find our way back.
