Tyler and Kage were at home, watching TV as usual. Suddenly, Tyler's iPhone started ringing. Checking the caller ID, he saw that it was Evan.

"Not again," Tyler mumbled. Evan was always calling Tyler to come and fix stuff. "What do you want, Evan?"

"Do you think you could fix my dishwasher? It's not working," Evan explained.

"I'll be right over," Tyler droned. Tyler picked up his tool box and went to the door.

"What does Evan want now?" Kage asked.

"He wants me to fix his dishwasher," Tyler answered.

"Why? It didn't even work in the first place," Kage noted.

"I know. That's the story with everything," Tyler said. "I'll be back soon, OK?"

Tyler got in his car and left.

About 15 minutes later, Tyler was in the seedy side of town. He didn't like it here, but Evan lived here, so he didn't have a choice.

He finally found the house, if you could call it that. He walked up to the door and knocked. Almost immediately, the door fell down. Tyler walked in.

"Hey, Ty," Evan said. "I'll show you where the dishwasher is."

Tyler looked at the dishwasher. It was OK, but it wasn't working. Tyler looked behind it and saw that it was unplugged. He plugged it in, but it still didn't work. "Evan, why isn't this working?" Tyler asked.

"I get all my power from a battery setup on the roof," Evan explained. "I don't trust the power companies. Sometimes the setup can't reach everything."

As if on cue, the setup broke and Tyler and Evan were in the dark.

"Aw, not again!" Evan exclaimed. "That's the fifth time this week!"

"Evan, you suck," Tyler complained. He picked up his tools and left.

[Again, my humour needs work. Suggestions are still welcome. Until next time!]
