Okay my heart was beating extremely fast now, I felt myself turning red. I haven't talked to Jacob since... the rejection. "Uhhh yeah Jacob" I said, my voice going high at the end. "Hi..." he hesitated "Hi" I said. Okay that was weird. We just went out to lunch. I went to sit with Janet and Claire. I saw Ricky but he wasn't sitting with us, he was going over to Jacobs group. "Um guys, do you know where Ricky is going?" I asked as I took a sip from my water. "I heard he's going to confess to Jacob." Said Janet. I spit out my water and almost choked. "WHAT!?!" I screamed. "Uh yeah, I was talking to Jacob yesterday and I think he likes someone else, I'm not exactly sure who but it seemed like he was straight." Said Claire. "Oh he likes someone else?" I said as I held my head down. "Umm well I don't really know, he just keeps giving off hints." Claire said. "Who?" I asked. "Uhhhh you see..." but that's when we saw Ricky running to the boys bathroom. We couldn't exactly see his face, but from the way he ran, it didn't seem good. "Oh no I think Ricky got rejected" Janet said. "Yeah well he should just get over it, Jacobs not that great anyways, right?" I said trying to imitate what Ricky told me. "Haha looks like someone is acting salty" said Janet. The bell rang and we went back to the class.

Ricky's POV

I have liked Jacob since before Gabriella told us she liked him. I don't know exactly how long she's liked him but I do know she was the first to confess to the friend group. When she told us, I told her that Jacob wasn't that great, he was two faced, I had to make sure she didn't like him. But who's going to stop liking Jacob? He's a really great person. I told Janet that I was going to tel Jacob. "Ricky just know that this might be risky, more risky than when Gabriella told him, look how she ended up," Janet was telling me "and just know, that you might not be friends with Gabriella anymore, but she still cares about you so I don't know if you should do this, but if you really do, go ahead I guess." " I think I can do this, if Gabriella really did care about me, she would let me date him" I told janet "yeah she's a good person, but it still hurts her." Janet said, and then walked away. I don't know if Jacob is just a good friend or if he likes me. We would hang out a lot, and I don't remember but I heard he was bisexual so that was good for me I guess. During summer school, I saw Gabriella, Claire, and Janet together, and I think Gabriella saw me, but I just continued waking to Jacob. I saw him with his friends and asked him if I could talk to him. "Um sure" Jacob had told me. We went somewhere where his friend weren't. I was starting to panic but at least I had more gut and did it in person unlike Gabriella. "Okay, I don't know if you're straight or not but I like you..!" Jacob looked shocked. "I'm so sorry Ricky," he told me and then I knew it, it was hard on me and I just wanted to run away. "I'm straight, but we can continue being friends." He told me. "It's okay, I'm going to go with my friends now, bye." I told him "bye." He told me with a sad look on his face. I ran to the bathroom, I just needed to be alone for a bit.
