Sans and the pups had ended up leaving Temmie Village not long after the peptalk. He was feeling pretty good about himself again - better than he'd had in a while. Good enough to make one more stop to see an old pal and introduce him to his pups. The three were just as excited to meet him, running around Sans and jumping excitedly on each other as they made their way across Waterfall. Old man Gerson was one of the closest Sans had to a father figure, aside from Asgore. Gerson had taught him how to use his magic to do good and trained him how to judge others based on their sins. After training, though, he would bring Sans to his cave, treat Sans with a unisicle or a piece of candy, or a Cinnabon and some tea before bringing him home to Papyrus. Gerson liked to spoil him a bit, too, before he got to cold and went back to Waterfall. The point was that Gerson aught to be excited, finding out Sans had a whole litter for him to spoil. Sans was looking forward to seeing his reaction once he met them.

Gerson's Shop was as crowded as ever, jam-packed with piles of knickknacks and oddities of all sorts. The pups were instantly curious, reaching to check things out and see how it worked. "don't touch anything, pups, we don't know what's holding these piles together, and i would rather not see you crushed underneath." Sans warned as he headed over to the back. Artemis was quick to follow with her brother's close behind. Gerson was waiting, smoking his pipe as he leaned forward in his chair. "It's about time you visit, Sonny. I'm sorry for your loss." The old tortoise was devoid of his usual cheer - something that came with loss and suffering. "and you as well, i know you'd been like a father to undyne, even more so than me." Sans replied. Hell, Undyne was his daughter. Not biologically, but after she lost her parents, it was Gerson that had taken her in. She'd been younger than Sans and couldn't take care of herself the way Sans could take care of himself and Papyrus. Gerson hummed sadly, puffing out of his pipe. "She was a good kid, just like Papyrus..." Sans nodded his agreement, feeling a paw take his hand.

Gerson jumped and looked down as Sirius copied his sister with Gerson, having gone behind the desk to take his hand. "Well, hello, young'un... and who might you be?" Sans smiled as Orion made an effort to climb up onto Gerson's desk. "That's my little brother, Sirius, and she's my little sister, Artemis! I'm Orion, the great-"
"rion, you know better than to climb on furniture." Orion hopped back down instantly. "Sorry, dad -" Sans simply pulled him close to hug him. "they sense your sorrow." Sans told Gerson as Sirius peered up at him. "It's ok, things will get better..." Gerson blinked and smiled, petting Sirius softly. "I know they will, young'un, thank you."
"pups, this is gerson. he trained me on how to use magic when i was a bit older than you." Sans finished introductions. Gerson looked at Sans. How he'd managed to move on after losing his only family. The boy was setting quite the example. Gerson found himself getting up. "Hang on a moment, I'll go put on some tea. I think I have some treats for you lil stinkers too, wah ha ha!" He rubbed Sirius' head before going off to get some candies for the pups.
