Elena stood outside the classroom and waited for Kate to come out. Her sister had stopped to ask the teacher about something.

Elena tapped her foot impatiently against the marble floor. Her face clearly showed her annoyed look, and she moved her feet back and forth.

Clearly, she could make patience impatient with her tactics someday.

She was about to barge inside the classroom to bring Kate out but stopped when she heard a certain nasal voice behind her.

It was Ashley, surrounded by her clones, Riva and Ruby who like her had their hair styled in tight ponytails.

Elena cringed at their tightly made hair. Ugh! That must hurt a lot.

Ashley looked perfect in a tiger-printed jumpsuit. Black eyeliner darkened her eyes, making their blue color pop out. A glimmering tiger-printed eyeshadow was dusted upon her eyelids, making her look like a wildcat.

It seemed as if her feet had trouble breathing as they were tightly fit in her black heels. Back problems will surely await her in some years.

Elena also noticed that Ashley clutched a blue file in her hand. Wow, she does her assignments?

She frowned upon seeing Ashley clapping the file against her palm, a smirk on her face, revealing the dimple on her left cheek.

She then noticed Sarah who trailed timidly behind Ashley.

"No one gets to know this," Ashley whispered to Sarah, going through the file's contents.

She snatched another file from Riva's hands and went through it. This one, however, didn't seem to interest her, and she threw it on the floor.

Riva picked her file up and moved away with Ruby by her side, their faces flooded with relief.

Elena watched this with a deeper frown as she remembered that the Astronomy teacher had asked them to bring their assignments in blue files. So, she makes people do her homework as well. Time to move into action.

Ashley hit Sarah on her head lightly with the file the latter had given her and walked with a smug look on her painted face.

Before she could walk away completely, Elena's hand grabbed her wrist, stopping her.

"And where do you think you're going, princess?" Elena asked with a frown.

"And who may you be?" Ashley feigned surprise.

The students started filing out of their classes but stopped to notice the exchange between Aurora's queen and badass twin.

"Drop the act, Ashley," Elena commented sarcastically, and glared at her while snatching the file.

"That's mine, give it back!"

"Now, what do we have here?"

Elena raised her eyebrows while flipping through the pages of the assignment. She noticed Sarah's gray eyes pleading not to do anything.

She knew pretty well that it was the Astronomy assignment. Each student was asked to submit their own by the next day.

While everyone toiled around typing the huge assignment, Ashley prepared hers by ordering Sarah to make one for her. How convenient!

Elena could see this was wrong, and she was a person who would never see wrong things taking place. She always stood up for what was right, what she felt was right.

"That's mine! Give it back you nosy little b--"

"So easy to give things your name," Elena answered with a smile as she cut Ashley off, and then narrowed her eyes. "I know this isn't yours."

Ashley glared venomously at Elena, grabbing half of the file in her hand. The two began a tug of war, and the poor file was snatched between them repeatedly.

Finally, Elena got the upper hand and removed the papers from the file. She smirked as she started tearing each one in front of Ashley's horrified face.

"Are you crazy!" Ashley screamed and lunged forward to grab the half-torn typed papers. She couldn't stop Elena from completely tearing the assignment, and this angered her tremendously.

Elena had a smug look on her face while eyeing Ashley's steely glare. If her glares could work, Elena would be mercilessly bound in heavy metal chains by now.

Angered by this, Ashley raised her palm. Elena quickly caught her wrist in time, dodging the otherwise tight slap.

The students, now a huge audience, watched with their mouths hung open, while the "cat-fight" footage was recorded in some of their mobiles.

"Slapping me won't get your assignment back."

"Oh wait, erase that, Sarah's assignment done upon your order," Elena said, imaginarily erasing the air.

Kate joined Elena's side and looked at her confusedly. A little away stood Max and Ivan with equally confused looks.

"What's up?" Kate asked.

"Nothing, here, you can use these papers for your compost," Elena suggested as she bent to pick the torn papers.

Kate looked at them and realization donned upon her.

"R.I.P. assignment," she said, making Max smile at her comment. Ivan stood there with a bored expression.

Ashley looked at the twins and strutted away. Her heels dug into the floor, making it wince with pain. Her tight blonde ponytail swished with her walk, mocking the twins, almost wishing it could slap them hard. The marble floor was at the receiving end of her transferred aggression.

"She's gone," Kate stated as she held her twin's arm. "Let's go, El."

"Drama ain't over, Dexter," Elena commented with a grin. "Wait and watch."

Elena's guess proved to be right because Ashley returned with the principal by her side.

She looked at the twins with a smile with an almost smug smile. She stroked her left cheek which was marked in faint red streaks.

"Sir, she slapped me," Ashley said with a whine. Her expression changed drastically to make it look like she was about to burst into tears.

"Drama begins," Elena whispered to Kate with a smirk.

"Good actress," Kate whispered back, her amber eyes rolling at the drama unfolding in front of her.

"Why did you slap her?" Principal Jackson asked sternly.

"She didn't!" Kate defended. Upon a nod from Elena, she continued.

"Why would she slap her?"

"She tore my assignment, the one I had worked so hard on." Ashley sniffled. "When I stopped her, she slapped me."

"She's lying, sir!" Kate informed, watching Elena search for something in her backpack.

"Firstly, it was you who hit other students, now you?" Principal Jackson commented with a grimace. "You can't slap students, Miss Russo."

"Slap? What slap, sir?" Elena asked with a raised eyebrow as she stepped towards Ashley.

She wiped Ashley's cheek with a tissue. A part of her cheek was clean, the tissue now soaked with faded red and cream-colored foundation.

"Cetaphil Makeup Removing Wipes, sir," Elena explained with a grin. "These are really good."

The principal frowned and glared at Ashley who stood dumbfoundedly amidst the shocked faces of her classmates.

"Get back to your classes, everyone," he ordered and looked sternly at Ashley. "No lying next time."

"She doesn't just lie," Elena muttered under her breath.

One by one the students went to their respective classes as Ashley strutted away with an embarrassed face.

Left standing there were four students, of which three stood smiling.

"Genius!"

Max chuckled and high-fived Elena who noticed Ivan sulking. He looks so cute when he smiles, I wish I can make him smile some day.

"Still the green-eyed monster, eh Van?" Kate blurted out. "At least one thing hasn't changed about you."

Elena grabbed Kate's arm hastily and dragged her towards their next classroom. Before leaving, she eyed Max's raised eyebrow and Ivan's shocked expression.

Hey, people! How are you all and how's everything going on?

I'm back with an update after 10 long days. I know I've been late, but I was out for five days with my family and we celebrated Eid.

Originally, Elena was supposed to get slapped by Ashley and later framed as a culprit. The principal would believe the "red" slap "marks" on Ashley's face to be real.

But I couldn't find any suitable punishment for Elena, and somehow wasn't happy with this idea. So, I changed it a bit and exposed Ashley's lie in front of everyone.
