"You can be childlike without being childish. A child always wants to have fun. Ask yourself, 'Am I having fun?'"

-Christopher Meloni

"I'll do it!"

"No, let me!"

"You don't have a good aim, El!"

"As if you do," Elena scoffed.

"I do, now give me that!"

"You can't even run a mile."

"What's that supposed to do with aiming?" Kate asked, raising her thin eyebrow.

The twins stood in the school's cafeteria, planning to throw a fake spider at Ivan. They knew he was frightened by them terribly. This made way for another excuse to prank the ice king.

"Give me that, El!" Kate struggled to get the spider from her sister's fist.

"Oh my God! Look at what that girl's wearing!" Elena commented after a short gasp.

Poor Katfish was hooked into Elena's bait and looked sideways.

Grinning, Elena hastily threw the fake spider in Ivan's direction, but her clumsy throw missed the ice king.

Instead, it was able to produce a certain high, nasal scream, which silenced the whole cafeteria.

"Mommy!" Ashley screeched, the fake spider now perfectly stuck to her narrow nose.

The queen bee had been talking to Riva and Ruby, completely oblivious that a spider would be hurled at her face.

"Get it off! Get it off!" Ashley screamed and flailed her arms in horror.

The fake spider might be horrified too, being amidst a highly perfumed and powdered environment.

The girls near Ashley screamed as well, and some boys backed away instead of helping her. Among the various screams, Ivan's horrified face and his scream were included too.

He quickly shut his mouth, and placed his palm over it, thankful that no one had heard him.

Elena watched Ashley's flustered figure and laughed. She blew an airy kiss in her direction and grinned evilly. The queen hadn't noticed it though.

Kate grabbed her twin's wrist and pulled her under a table. "What are you doing?" she hissed.

"Having fun, Dexter. Something which you should too."

"Kiddo."

"It's good to be a kid at times. Once you grow up, there's no time for play." Elena smiled as she patted her sister's head. She made a move to get up.

Kate held her arm. "Stay. I'm in no mood to deal with that bee right now."

"I had asked you not to aim," Kate continued with a lopsided grin. Her teeth, white as snow, were curtained by her pale pink lips as she dropped the grin.

Elena shook her head with a smirk grazing her mischievous face. She took another fake spider and placed a finger upon her lips.

"What are you--"

"Keep quiet, Dexter," Elena whispered. She peeped a look above, noticing a girl in a short skirt standing beside the table. The girl was discussing her first kiss in an animated manner with another girl.

She was least suspecting when Elena lightly stuck the fake spider on her ankle. Skilfully, Elena used her fingers on the girl's leg to give a crawling sensation.

The girl now aware of the touch, looked down and noticed the large tarantula-like spider stuck to her ankle.

She jumped, shrieked, and cried at the same time.

With hysterical cries ringing, girls jumping around, and some running away, the cafeteria was now a howling mess.

"The cafeteria's infested with spiders!" someone screeched.

Fear sometimes makes one believe in things that aren't even real. Same was the case in the cafeteria, where screams of horror were served today.

Elena doubled over in laughter as Kate looked at her in disbelief. She shook her head and pursed her lips at her sister's giggles.

"Come on, you know you want to laugh too." Elena smirked and burst out laughing.

The girl with the fake spider on her ankle unknowingly collided with Ashley in such a way that their heads bammed into each other.

The cafeteria's sudden silence made the twins come out from under the table quickly.

Ashley glared at the girl. "Filth! How dare you bump into me?"

She was about to say more, but her words were already enough to make the other girl cry. She ran away immediately, sobbing all the way.

Ashley's eyes fell upon the floor where two fake spiders lay in an unfashionable manner.

Sarah came by and noticed this too. She picked up the spiders and showed them to Ashley. "They're fake," she stated the obvious, touching one spider whose gum was now not that sticky.

"Who did this?" Ashley commanded in a high pitch. The cafeteria's silence met her as an answer. The bell rang a minute later, signaling the end of the break. She huffed and strutted away after adjusting her crown and hair.

"Great job with the prank," Sarah commented as she neared the twins. Elena grinned upon this while Kate didn't.

"I never liked that girl anyway," Sarah informed with a giggle. "See you around." The twins frowned at her retreating back.

"That's what happens when a prank goes overboard," Kate said as she pointed at the girl whom Elena had pranked. She was now walking with her friend who was trying to console her.

"But, I didn't mean to--"

"El, remember that your laugh shouldn't be built by someone else's tears."

She put an arm around her sister's neck, and continued, "Each tear is precious. If someone loses it because of you, you'll lose it because of someone else. That's karma, that's how life works."

Elena nodded her head upon hearing these words. "I'll find the girl, apologize, and give her chocolate. Hope she forgives me."

The twins sauntered away hand in hand, unaware that Max had been watching them.

"Thank God I wasn't the victim," Ivan commented after sighing in relief.

"I know who wanted it to be you," Max replied with a chuckle, and pointed at the twins.

The boys started walking to their next class which was Astronomy.

"The Russos won't know what's in store for them," Ivan muttered.

👽👽👽

The twins sat in their usual seats and opened their Astronomy textbooks.

"What's so funny?" Elena asked after eyeing Max suspiciously as the latter grinned.

Kate patted her sister's arm. "That's his usual face. It would be puzzling when he isn't grinning."

"What's a white dwarf?" Ivan questioned the twins, taking them by surprise. They looked at him dumbfoundedly, neither of them giving him an answer.

"Well?"

"A white dwarf is a star that doesn't shine very brightly," Kate began.

"Like Ashley," Elena butted in with a smirk.

"El!" Kate chided, smacking her sister's head. "Also, a star which is at the end of its life." She folded her hands and nodded shortly at Ivan.

The twins then started talking to Max, the threesome now engaged in some debate about a movie.

Ivan closely eyed Elena's face, her hand movements, and did the same for Kate. When the latter looked at him, he stared back defiantly.

"Van, stop staring at us. You're being creepy."

The ice king chose to answer with his trademark smirk.
