Sister Aimi (POV)
Location: St James Orphanage
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Aimi- Now who could that be at this time of night and in weather like this?
I set down my book on the coffee table and get up from my chair. Suddenly a long crackle of thunder and lightning shake the building.
Aimi- Oh my. That was a big one.
I hurry to the door and unlock it. I see no one except for the near blinding rain coming down.
Aimi- That's weird. I could have sworn I heard someone knocking at the door.....huh?
I squint my eyes and I see an object under the lamppost at our gate.
Aimi *mind*- I wonder what that is?
I take an umbrella and walk out into the storm. I reach the lamppost and I see two objects under a blanket. There's a note on it.
Note: Please take care of them. They are very precious to me.
Aimi- Please don't tell me what I think it is.
I slowly remove the blanket and it reveals a sleeping girl and and an infant in two separate boxes.

Aimi- Oh god. Who would do such a thing?
I quickly scope up the children and rush back inside where it's warm.
Aimi- Father Michael! Father Michael! Please come quick!
The sound of rushing footsteps coming down the stairs gives me a sense of relief. Soon he comes into the foyer.

Michael- What is it Aimi? Are you alright?
Aimi- Yes! I'm fine but the children!
He notices the children and quickly goes serious.
Michael- Where did you find them?
Aimi- I found them by the gate. I don't know how long they were out there but it's storming really bad outside and they almost got struck by lightning. There was a smoking crater really close to them.
Michael- Ok. Run and go get the thermometer and some medicine. I'll put them by the fire to warm up.
Aimi- Ok.
I run into the kitchen to get the thermometer from a drawer and some medicine from the cupboard. I also ran upstairs to get the children some warm clothes. I hurried back downstairs and I see Michael in the easy chair cradling both children as they sleep.
Aimi- Here. I got the thermometer and some medicine. I also got some dry warm clothes.
Michael- Thank you Sister Aimi. (Uses thermometer on both children) Phew. No fever. That's a relief.
Aimi- The note from the box didn't say their names.
Michael- No name huh. Well, how about the boy be Shoki and the girl be Uzume.
Both children smile in their sleep.
Aimi- I think they like it.
Michael- Well then, from now on you two will stay here under our care. This is your home now?
Timeskip 17 year later
Shoki (POV)
???- Come on little bro wake up!!
Shoki- Damn it Uzume. Let me sleep.
She rips the covers off of me and wacks me with a pillow.
I open my eyes to see Uzume standing next to my bed.
Indigo: She's gonna have red eye by the way

Uzume- Have you forgotten what today is?
Shoki- Uhhh I don't know.
Uzume- Ugh. Today is moving day and also the day you get to Kuoh Academy with me!
Shoki- Oh yeah. Now I remember.
Uzume- (sighs and gives a gentle smile) You better be glad I love you little bro. Meet me downstairs when you're done getting ready. And make sure you got all your belongings packed.
Shoki- (gives toothy grin)- You got it sis!
I hop out of bed and get ready for the day. Once I'm done, I look at myself in the mirror.

Shoki- Aye. Not bad. Looking good me.
Uzume- (from downstairs) Shoki hurry up!!
Shoki- Ok I'm coming! Geez!
I grab all my things and rush downstairs to see Sister Aimi and Father Michael.
Indigo: Sister Aimi 👇

Aimi- (hugs Shoki) Oh I'm going to miss you!
Shoki- I'll....miss....you too....Aimi....can't....breathe.
Aimi- Oh I'm so sorry. (Let's go) It's just that I remember when you were a teeny tiny baby. Now look at you. Seventeen years old and moving out of the orphanage and going to Kuoh Academy with your sister. I might just cry.
Uzume- Please don't.
Michael- Ok you two kids better be off. And remember, you'll always have a home here.
SU- Thanks Father Michael for everything.
We exit the orphanage but before we do, I turn around to look at the orphanage one last time.

Shoki *mind*- Goodbye guys. Thank you for everything you've done.
Uzume- Shoki I'm going to leave you.
Shoki- I'm coming!
Timeskip
Location: Kuoh Academy
There we were standing outside Kuoh Academy.

Shoki- So tell me how in the hell I got into this school again after I've got nothing but homeschool.
Uzume- I have my ways. I'm pretty important in the school board you know.
Shoki- Uh huh.
Uzume- (rubs Shoki's hair) Oh don't be like that. You'll do great. Now, I have to get to class. Meet me at the fountain so we can meet up for lunch okay?
Shoki- Ma'am yes ma'am.
Uzume- Alright. Gotta go. Bye bro.
Shoki- Later.
She leaves and I'm still standing where I'm standing.
Shoki *mind*- Ok. This is it. The start to a brand new life.
I look at my special necklace.

Shoki *mind*- I got this just like Uzume said. Don't screw this up me! Here we go!
I rush off to my first class and to the start of something new.
