Shoki (POV)
Nothing but black feathers filled the church as Devora's screaming finally came to a close. I had my back turned the entire time but her last words still rang in my head. A haunting reminder of how my life all started. With both fallen angels killed, Asia' sacred gear returns in a floating green orb.
Rias- It's beautiful. Shall we return them?
IS-..........Yeah.
We walked over to Asia's corpse filled with agony and sorrow. I let Issei be the one to slip her ring back on her finger.
Issei- I'm sorry..........We're sorry. You all came to help Shoki and I we fought as hard as we could. But still............
Tears begin to fall out of my face once more.
Shoki- We failed. She's gone. Asia is gone! Asia please forgive us!
My knees give way and I fall on my hands and knees. I can Akeno wrap her arms around me from behind and Uzume puts her hand on my shoulder.
Rias- You two have nothing to apologize for. This world is still new to you. Nobody here is placing blame. Least of all Asia.
Issei- (tears streaming down his face) But I-
Rias- Now this may not make any sense. But I'd like to show you something.
We look at her through our tear soaked eyes. She has a chess piece in her hand.

Rias- Have either of you seen one these before?
Issei- A chess piece?
Shoki- Looks like a bishop piece.
Akeno- That is correct Shoki.
Rias- The bishop's position of power is to protect and heal all the other devils in the household. Perhaps the timing perfect. We could use a good a good clergyman.
Issei- Wait, are you saying.....
Shoki- There's no way.
Rias-.......Our good sister here is about to be born again into the underworld. Lay her down on the floor.
Issei dies as he is told and gently takes her from the pew to the floor. Rias then begins the ritual as her symbol appears under Asia's corpse.

Rias- In the name of Rias Gremory I call upon Asia Argento. Hear my command. Return thy soul from the shadow of death to the human realm. Rise once more as my demon servant. Rejoice for you have been given new life. Wake as my healer and clergyman.
The bishop piece fades into Asia and the symbol goes away.
Issei- So what now?!
Shoki- Is she alive now?!
Rias- Just wait.
The spot where the piece faded into glows green for a slight second and then Asia's eyes began to open. She then sits up.
Issei- You're alive!
Shoki- Is that really her though?
Rias- It is but I don't make it a habit of reviving the deceased. I did because her power may be useful. From here on, you two are her protector. You are the seniors devils after all.
Asia- Issei? Shoki? Am I really here?
Issei throws himself into a tight hug of Asia.
Issei- Yes and I'm so happy.
Shoki- You're home now and that is all that matters.
Timeskip to the next day
I arrive at the clubhouse and spot Rias drinking tea on one of the couches.
Shoki- What up.
Rias- I'm surprised you're here today, let alone this early. How are you feeling?
Shoki- Well I feel a whole lot better than I did before thanks to Asia's healing.
Rias- That's good. She's already proving how useful she can be. It's no wonder all of those fallen angels felt so threatened by her power.
Shoki *mind*- Speaking of power, the God Anubis? I have his power? And how did Devora know about my beginning? Could the fallen angels know more about my parents? What does Anubis and this sacred day have in connection with beginning?
