They walked into another room. It was ginormous! there was a far wall at the other side of the room. There was a big sleeping face on it. The whole room was black and dark.

"Let Rush Wall wake." another stranger's voice boomed. The face opened its eyes and roared. The room erupted with light.

"To win this game, you must run to the gaps in the wall and escape the wall. When you are in the gap in the ground, you win. You can use your element abilities." There were a lot of gaps in the wall. The farthest gap was the gap in the ground. "The game starts in 3, 2, 1, GO!"

Huge, flaring flames spewed from the mouth of the face. Rainbow and the rest of them ducked, gasping and shouting with fear.

Then, Rainbow summoned a giant wave. She surged past some gaps, but when the room dimmed, Rainbow tumbled off her wave and dove into the nearest gap. The tsunami faded to nothing. Ivory rushed in just in the nick of time. The wall rushed forwards, spewing flames. It zipped to the end, then back. Rainbow narrowed her eyes at the harsh, dry winds that blew into her face when the wall rushed past their gap.

"NOOOO!" a cry filled the air. Why was the cry so familiar? Rainbow thought deeply, then looked up. She gasped and stared in horror at the unmoving body in the middle of the field. She recognized it at once.

"CORAL!" Rainbow yowled. "MY SIBLING!" she sobbed as a stranger with a mask dragged her away.

The room lit up again.

Rainbow pushed away her tears and remembered a quote that her mother, Delpha, told her about. When weak, act strong. She nodded fiercely, then charged out of the gap. "I'm doing this for Coral, Delpha, Yellowfin, and Sunset! My family! COME ON, RAINBOW, YOU CAN DO IT!" Rainbow zipped to the 2nd last gap, her lungs burning. She lay against the wall, heaving for breath as the room dimmed again. Ivory also flew in, puffing.

"We're faster than the others!" She called.

Rainbow watched solemnly as the wall rushed past them again. They heard several other shrieks, then the sound of animalcolms dragging them away.

The room turned bright.

Rainbow leapt for the hole in the ground, shrieking in triumph. Ivory was also beside her, her eyes sparkling with tears.

Rainbow and Ivory landed on a soft mat. They were back in The Waking room. She sighed to Ivory, "We made it!" Rainbow flew to her bunk and lay down on it, staring at the ceiling.

I wonder who will make it. Will I be able to take the prize?
