Starlight looked at DiamondDark and she stared right back. DiamondDark looked really serious and Starlight had to take it seriously too.

"Starlight. Have you heard? The princesses are going to choose either me, you, FeatherShine, or NeonStrip as their apprentices. But one of us will be outcasted," DiamondDark said. Starlight lit up with joy.

"Really? That's amazing! Why us exactly?" Starlight asked. DiamondDark sighed and walked out of FlutterShy's house, Starlight following her.

"The princesses must see something in us. He have to gather up everyone," DiamondDark said. Starlight already knew where FeatherShine was heading.

"I passed FeatherShine before I came here. She's going right to NeonStrip!" Starlight said excitedly.

"Then there's no time to loose," DiamondDark said while expanding her wings and going into the air while flapping her wings. Starlight soon followed, she glided instead of taking the easy way.

"Where is NeonStrip?" DiamondDark asked.

"Follow me!" Starlight said while diving down a little. She looked back and saw DiamondDark following. Starlight headed to Pinkie Pie's house but a gust of wind got them a little off track.

"Where are we heading?" DiamondDark asked in frustration.

"Pinkie's house," Starlight said. She watched as the serious mare dived back onto the ground and she soon followed. They weren't far from Pinkie's house now.

When they got to Pinkie Pie's house, DiamondDark was about to knock on the door until Pinkie Pie opened the door and was jumping excitedly.

"Hi Starlight! Hi DiamondDark!" Pinkie Pie said happily.

"Hey Pinkie. Have you seen NeonStrip and FeatherShine?" Starlight asked politely.

"Oh yeah! They're in here! Let me fetch them for you really quick!" Pinkie Pie said while shutting the door. DiamondDark murmured something but Starlight didn't catch what she said.
