"Yes. We can understand," Starlight said. She was the role model for her friends but her heart pounded so much.

"Good. Now follow us back to the castle," Princess Luna said. She, Princess Celestia, and Princess Cadence went back on the carriage and another soon followed.

"For you my dears," Princess Cadence said while pointing to the other carriage with her hoof. Starlight gulped and went on the carriage. FeatherShine, DiamondDark, and NeonStrip soon followed.

"Ponies of PonyVille. We shall announce the new apprentices later. Each Princess will say their apprentice's name. Now, we must go," Princess Celestia said. The carriages started to fly toward the castle, where they'll stay.

"WOW!! We're so high!" FeatherShine exclaimed. She looked over the carriage and saw how small everything was. Starlight looked at her shoes, thinking who'll be the outcast.

"Be careful! We don't want a pony to be injured!" DiamondDark snapped. FeatherShine quickly sat like everyone else was doing.

"Sorry," FeatherShine apologized. Starlight's thoughts were wild.

What happens if the outcast is me?! My dreams will be shattered! I always wanted to rise the stars. Will Luna help me if I do? If I do get picked, who'll be my mentor? Please let it be Luna! She's my hero!

"It's okay, Starlight," NeonStrip said while patting her back. Starlight looked up at NeonStrip.

"Thanks, Neon. I needed that," Starlight said. NeonStrip nodded and looked in front of them. Starlight and NeonStrip were sitting in the front while FeatherShine and DiamondDark sat in the back.

"This is so cool!" FeatherShine said. DiamondDark huffed and looked away from her. The princesses were in front of them, leading their carriage. Starlight looked at Princess Celestia and Luna's flowing hair. That calmed her a little.

Starlight couldn't help herself but expand her wings to feel the wind blow. NeonStrip didn't mind her wings.

"LOOK! THERE'S THE CASTLE!!" FeatherShine exclaimed. It was true, the castle was right in front of them.
