•••YAMI's POV•••

They took him from me... They took my Yugi...

It was the only thing I could think about after Yugi closed the mind link. For sure, I knew things about my past, but after Yugi showed me this I just couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't.

But they took him. They killed him. He killed him.

I couldn't breathe. Yugi...

I couldn't find him. He was gone.

"Yugi!" I yelled through the rooms, hoping for an answer. But it didn't come.

I opened the door and ran through the corridors. I tried to talk to him through the mind link.

'Please, aibou, we need to talk...' I whispered.

After that, Yugi responded.

'I'm so sorry Yami... I hope you can forgive me...' he said.

I chuckled.

'Please, where are you?' I asked.

He didn't answer. He had shut the mind link.

•••YUGI's POV•••

Why did I show it all to him? It had probably been the stupidest thing I could have done... What if he didn't like me back at all? What if I had destroyed our bond now?

I had left the mind link open, but when I realized what I had done, I had just started running through the corridors of the huge puzzle like a maniac, and I hadn't been able to catch a breath for like five minutes.

I had just kept running. Running from his response...

When I had found a good hiding place, I sat down on the cold floor and pulled my knees up. I laid my head on my knees. I should have never let him see it... If it was even real...

Yami kept saying things to me through the mind link. And I was aware of the fact that I had to return to him eventually. If I ever wanted to leave this puzzle that is...

'Come on... I want to talk to you,' he said.

I hesitated. But finally, I answered him.

'If that's what you really want...' I said.

'Really... I don't want anything else. Tell me where you are...' he said.

I sighed.

'I'll be right there... Wait for me,' I said.

•••YAMI's POV•••

I was sitting on the couch in the room and it felt so empty without him. Those 5000 years had never felt so empty.

But, I didn't mind waiting, I would wait for him.

I would wait for him as long as I had to. I would wait for him forever.

All the paintings I had made of him... I never could actually stop making them.

I walked over to my bed and sat down.

Suddenly, I heard the door open and I heard Yugi walking towards me.

"Yami..." he said. I loved how he said my name.

"There you are," I said.

"Can you please tell me how you feel about me...?" Yugi asked.

I grinned and stood up from the bed.

"You've seen it... No words can describe how I feel about you," I said.

I slowly walked up to him, putting my hands around his waist. He gasped.

Being so close to him... After waiting so long...

I lifted him up and gently laid him down on my bed. I hovered above him, and he softly said my name, and I hears some panic in his voice.

"I know what you like," I said. "I won't go too far."

He nodded and sighed. His heart was beating fast... I grinned.

I leaned down and pressed our noses together.

"I love you..." I said, and he smiled.

"I think I love you too..." he whispered. He looked me into my eyes and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm going to kiss you," I murmured, leaning down only a bit more so I could crash our lips together.

Yugi moaned and I removed his hands from my waist, so I could push his arms against the headboard and lie down on top of him.

He opened his mouth for me, and did he taste sweet... Sweeter than I could have ever imagined he would taste...

He gasped for air after I pulled back.

"Was that your first?" I asked him.

He panted. "My first kiss...?" he asked while a smile started to spread all over his face. "Yes... It was..."

"Good... Because you are mine... Only mine..." I whispered into his ear.

I looked at his face and he just couldn't stop smiling.

"What's so funny?" I asked him.

"I just kissed a pharaoh..." he said softly.

I chuckled. "Yes, and he's about to do it again."
