King Bowser Koopa

King Bowser is the king of the Koopa Kingdom of the Darklands, father of his 8 children and now a former villain turned hero. After trying to kidnap Princess Peach and forcing her to marry him, he finally stopped when Mario married Peach. It broke his heart so much that he became depressed for months after the marriage. Soon Mario and some of the other heroes were able to cheer him up and get him to be a superhero. Now Bowser does what he can to make up for his past mistakes so people can love him.
Mario

The main hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is always bright and cheerful and instantly recognizable with his blue overalls, red cap, and trademark moustache. Mario is a plumber from Manhattan like his brother, Luigi.

He's a trusted friend of Princess Peach, and he and his brother Luigi are known across the land for their acts of bravery. Mario excels at sports including tennis, golf, baseball, soccer, and even kart racing. He's good at all of them! He's a plumber by profession but is really a jack of all trades.

He uses his masterful jumping ability and a variety of power-ups to take on his archrival, Bowser.

Mushroom Kingdom

Mario was strolling through the kingdom when suddenly he sees Bowser's flying ship hover above him. It lands on the ground and opens its doors as King Bowser Koopa steps out to greet his "friend".

"Mario... we meet again." Bowser said with a deep growl.

"Bowser... it's been a while." Mario said with a glare at the Koopa King.

The two continue to glare at each until they both started to laugh. They shake each other's hands and hugged.

"How's it going, King B?" Mario asked.

"Going good so far. Me and Sofia are enjoying ourselves together. Plus the kingdom is doing fine back home. But the reason why I'm here is because... I need your help." King Bowser said.

"My help? What for?" Mario asked.

"I've... been struggling on how to be hero for a while now. Ever since I decided to join the League, it... hasn't been easy for people to see me good. Even when my emotions sometimes get the best of me... it will sometimes become what people think is the worst of me." Bowser explained.

"Hey look... it's not gonna be easy to win over people. It will take some time... but eventually people will learn to accept you and respect you." Mario said.

"I will not always be my best... but I will always do my best." Bowser said.

"There you go! Come on, let's get started." Mario said as they walked together.

So Mario began to help and train Bowser in being a superhero. They began to do many missions together as Bowser soon started to get the hang of fighting as a hero. One of the threats they were now facing was the power of the Dark Star and the new Dark Bowser and his minions. Mario and Bowser soon saw the rest of Mario's team, involving: his brother, Luigi, Sonic, Shadow, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong. They were there waiting and trying to come up with a plan.

"Hey, you guys finally showed up." Sonic said.

"Hmph... about time." Shadow said.

"Sorry. I had to find Bowser." Mario said as Bowser smiles at the team.

"Yoshi!!!" Yoshi smiled as the team was together again.

"So are we going or not?" DK asked.

"What's the plan?" Luigi asked.

"While we deal with Dark Bowser's minions, Bowser will go deal with him." Mario said.

"Wait! Me? I-I don't know if I can do that." Bowser said.

"Oh come on, Bowser. You can handle this guy. You've fought me and the other heroes before." Mario said trying to boost Bowser's confidence.

"Perhaps all this "being good" has softened Bowser. Guess he's a wimp now." Shadow grunted.

Hearing that made something inside Bowser snapped, making him angry as he growls with fire burning off him. He roars in angry.

"SOFT?! Ha! I'll make you eat those words! King Bowser is not one who cowards away from threats... HE MAKE THE THREATS!!! I'll show this cheap copy of me who's the KING!!!!" Bowser growled as he jumped away to face his dark doppelgänger.

"You purposely said that just to wild him up, didn't you?" Sonic grins at Shadow.

"Yes... and it worked, didn't it?" Shadow smirked.

"Did he also refer himself in the third person?" Donkey Kong asked.

"Let's not get distracted guys. Come on, let's buy Bowser time." Mario said as they jump into action.

Bowser then arrives at the castle as he saw Princess Peach unconscious as Dark Bowser creates a whirlwind of chaos that spreads all over the entire kingdom, infecting most of the land in darkness.

"Still here? Has the dark power not crushed your puny hopes? Soon this kingdom will vanish along with all who dwell within. And you, too, will sleep eternally in the dark power's embrace!" Dark Bowser said as Bowser tries to stay strong against the raging wind.

"GWAHAHA!!!" Bowser laughs, making Dark Bowser ticked off.

"Great dark hurricane! Seriously?! Perfect backdrop for an awesome final battle! You really sweat the details! Listen up! You're saying this kingdom will vanish?" Bowser asked as he stomped the ground with might and fury, standing his ground.

"NOT TODAY! THIS KINGDOM IS ALL MINE!

... SO YOU VANISH!" Bowser roared and pointed at Dark Bowser as he got ready to fight.

As Bowser fought Dark Bowser, the rest of the heroes were fighting against Dark Bowser's minions. Mario and Luigi charged in as they fight together in sync. Mario jumps on top of Luigi as they spun together as Mario whacks away the minions with his hammer.

Get your soldiers, tell 'em I ain't layin' low You was never really rootin' for me anyway When I'm back up at the top I wanna hear you say He don't run from nothin', dog

Sonic does multiple Homing Attacks at the minions before he does a Spin Dash and crashed into the minions like a bowling ball against bowling pins. He then does a Phantom Rush as he leaves behind multiple afterimages in his trail, attacking each enemy.

Could you be an angel?

Shadow teleports all over as he assaults his enemies before they had time to react. He then showered the area using Chaos Arsenal, firing multiple arrows all over the battlefield. He smashed down on the growl and exploded energy from his body using Chaos Blast.

Yoshi attacks hard as he eats or uses his elongated tongue to grab enemies and smashed hard against them using a headbutt. He then used his tongue to grab a minion and whips it around as a weapon, hitting multiple enemies as he moves.

You open my eyes And I'm ready to go

Donkey Kong uses his muscle strength as he smash and punched each minion away. He does a barrel roll and smashed away at each enemy. He then KO Punched a bunch of minions into each other, leaving behind a mess.

Bowser claws and slashes at Dark Bowser as the two Koopas fight hard against each other as the fight echoes through the darkness of the kingdom.

On another level
Boy, you're my lucky star
I wanna walk on your wavelength

Mario and Sonic run together as Mario throws Sonic hard in a ball of fire as Sonic spins into a ball and knocked a large minion down.

🎶For you, I'll risk it all (Tell 'em that the break is over)🎶

Luigi and Shadow attack together as Shadow teleports high above and throws Luigi down as he shot lightning down on the ground, electrifying all the enemies.

Yoshi and Donkey Kong go to fight together. Yoshi swallowed an enemy and popped an egg out as Donkey Kong grabs it and throws it at an enemy as it explodes at the enemy.

When I'm back up at the top I wanna hear you say (Extraterrestrial)
You run from nothin', dog
Get your soldiers, tell 'em that the break is over (Extraterrestrial)🎶

Bowser does a Spin Slash as he slashes hard against Dark Bowser as he blasted Bowser with dark energy, Bowser manages to repel the blast back as he stabbed Dark Bowser with his claws, making Dark Bowser to bleed his negative energy out, weakening him. Bowser grins as this was his chance to end it.

🎶You're an alien
Your touch, so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial🎶

Bowser then finally landed the final KO PUNCH as his fist shattered Dark Bowser, turning him into dark mist. As Dark Bowser died, the darkness was swept away from the kingdom, revealing clear skies as everything was restored. The team watched King Bowser destroyed the twisted purple and black Bowser as his army faded away. The people of the kingdom cheered for the seven heroes.

"Look at that Bowser... you're a hero now." Mario said smiling.

Bowser looked shocked at this but grins as he lets out a mighty roar with fire bursting from his mouth in victory. The Toads and Koopas cheered for him and the other heroes.

After that, Bowser started to do other missions on his own and managed to do a good job at it. One of the things that Bowser accomplished was him being brought to another universe to help stop the evil King Bowser from Earth-445. In the end, Bowser-Prime won with the Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong from that universe. Later around nighttime, Mario and Bowser were seen sitting on a roof in the Mushroom Kingdom.

"You managed to save the kingdom and another universe, without me. Not bad King B." Mario said to the Koopa King.

"Heh... I guess I'm doing good at this new superhero thing." Bowser said.

"Ha! Yeah you are. Pretty soon, people will start relying on you more than me." Mario chuckled.

"Yeah, I doubt that. You and your brother will always be the heroes our kingdoms need." Bowser said.

"Correction... the kingdoms will rely on all seven of us for now on." Mario said patting Bowser's shoulder who looked surprised but smiled.

"Well... better get going. You comin'?" Mario asked as he got up.

"Heh... better not wait for me." Bowser said as Mario laughed as the two jump off together.

"Onlookers will judge me when they don't even know me..."

Mario and Bowser continue to run as they then saw Luigi running to them as he jumps closer and joins them in the run.

"I will get sad... I will get angry and feel utterly alone..."

Sonic speeds up to them as he smirks at them to see them together.

" I will have moments where I don't want to do anything and just give up..."

Shadow teleports to them as he grunts as he skates along side them.

"But then I will know deep inside... While only a few see me as a monster...

Yoshi pops out of a nearby pipe and tags along with the team as Bowser saw them running along with him.

"Those who are closest to me... will see me for who I truly am...

Donkey Kong swings from a vine as he tuck and rolls to them as he was the last to rejoin the team.

"I'm NOT a bad guy."

The scene ends with Bowser and the rest of the team jumping in midair as they go off to fight against trouble once again.
