History:
From East Boston, Massachusetts. I was born to a Sicilian couple who owned an Italian restaurant and worked hard to make it a success. I started working in the restaurant at 16 and worked all through high school and all four years of college. I went into wrestling, learned on the job, and became a rather dangerous competitor. I signed with WWE, in early or mid-2008. Vignettes played saying the 'Don of WWE' was coming.
On August 11, 2008, I made my debut against MVP. I won by using the Sicilian Driver.
A month or two later I met Brianna and Nicole Colace. And to say I was in love when I first saw them would be an understatement. I watched with interest as they won their fight with Natalya and Victoria. During downtime in Orlando. In a gym owned by an old high school buddy of mine, I watched them train. Brie noticed me and smiled. She waved me over to the practice ring. 'Are you stalking us?' She joked.
'No idea what you're talking about.' I replied with a chuckle. She looked back at Nikki and bit her lip.
'Got any plans tonight?' She asked.
'Not that I know of.' She smiled wider, 'How about now?' I shook my head as she sat on the middle rope and lifted the top rope as I got in the ring. For the next few hours, I helped train the Bella Twins. After training, I was invited to the apartment they shared and after a small dinner. We had a wild night between the sheets.
Surprisingly I was invited to their family's home for Thanksgiving. But I invited them to my parent's place for Christmas.
The moment Mom saw the twins. She was elated to have company but as mothers usually do. She asked which of them I was dating. I nearly choked on my orange cream soda as the twins scrambled for an acceptable answer. Dad somewhere accosted Mom about asking something like that. We had fun and Mom gathered all the family recipes into a cookbook and gave me a copy. It was when we got to their hotel, Nikki went to the room, while Brie stayed in the car with me. She was nervous about asking me a question but I beat her to the punch and asked if she'd be my girlfriend. I couldn't be happier when she said yes. In November 2010, the Bella Twins and I were in a romantic angle where they fought for my affection. Which lasted for a month before they spent the next two months accompanying me to the ring.
During their first break from the ring in 2012, Nikki started dating Cena. (Even though every alarm in my head was screaming as it went off) I promised Brie not to get involved. In 2014, I won my second major WWE title in the form of the Intercontinental Championship, barely a week later, I asked Brie to marry me and I smiled for days as she said yes. And in April of that year. We were married in a traditional Italian wedding in a private ceremony held at my home in Westchester, New York. We spent our honeymoon at my family's ancestral home in Palermo, Sicily. And spent a week in Italy. Venice, Rome, Milan, and Naples.
In late 2016, Brie gave me some great news when she told me she was pregnant, we announced the news on our socials. In 2017, we had the gender reveal on the same day as her second ultrasound, and in the usual mobster fashion, peppered a car side door with pink powder pellets and paintballs which were loaded into automatic Thompson machine guns, and the window rolled down to expose a card saying, 'Congratulations it's a girl.' On April 2, John proposed to Nikki, and on May 9, 11 days after my 32nd birthday. We welcomed Raven Maria Boyce-Colace into the world and our small family.
April 15, 2018, Nikki and John called off the engagement (which I believe is because John couldn't stand being the Undertaker's easiest Wrestlemania victory as he lasted barely three minutes against the Phenom). It wasn't until July that they finally called it quits. Brie repeatedly told me to stop silently gloating, I tried but since Nikki knew my tells, she didn't mind. In October of that year, Nikki suffered a neck injury and a slipped disc courtesy of Rousey. She didn't need surgery thank god. But she did have to retire due to Rousey's carelessness and total disregard for the rules and fellow wrestler's safety. She moved in with Brie and me and we soon sold the home in Westchester and purchased two homes one in Napa Valley. In early 2019, Brie and Nikki told me that they would like to open their very own winery among other ventures. I left them to their own devices while I went to Elimination Chamber. Which if I won the Chamber match the WWE Championship Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston at Wrestlemania 35 would be turned into a triple threat.
I won of course so at Wrestlemania. It would be me vs Bryan vs Kofi for the WWE Championship. That match wasn't the only reason I wanted to go. I had a score to settle for my sister-in-law. When I saw Rousey. I got in her face and warned her to watch her back as she wouldn't see me coming. She tried to hide the fear she was feeling. But she wasn't hiding it well. I smiled as I walked away. Needless to say, Kofi won which I didn't mind at all. He deserved it more.
Kofi gave me a shot at Summerslam and I won the WWE Championship after almost an hour of war. We practically threw everything at each other. But at TLC I dropped the title to Miz. A few weeks before TLC Brie and Nikki told me some great news. I took a leave of absence after TLC and made sure I was there for them through it all. On July 31, 2020. I rushed the twins to a local hospital and since it was the pandemic. I wasn't allowed in the delivery room which I didn't understand aside from possibly exposing our babies to the virus. But I was allowed to see them when they transferred Brie and Nikki to a private room. Brie gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Samuel 'Sammy' Thomas Boyce Colace. And I don't know how she kept it from me for so long, but Nikki gave birth to twin girls. Dawn Briana Boyce and Winter Nikole Boyce.
I took some pics of the girls holding the babies they took pics of me holding them as well. I sent them to mom and dad and their mom. The reactions were overwhelmingly the same. 'How adorable.' 'Cute.' And so on.
When I returned to work in early 2021 I was approached by Hunter to be the interim GM of NXT. I agreed and since I didn't want to go through 24-hour quarantine. I did everything remotely. Nikki and Brie decided to join me in Florida with our kids that way I wouldn't get into too much trouble with Hunter. I was happy but felt a little selfish as my girls were barely getting their line of wines among other things started. So I felt bad about having them with me when they had their businesses to start and run. They told me they were okay with doing everything over the phone even video conferences.
When I returned as a competitor for Raw in early 2022. I was most definitely feeling my age. But like any good competitor, I adjusted the way I trained and wrestled. However, delusional McMahon thought he'd be slick and release me only for Hunter to hire me back as a trainer in the Performance Center. Until Summerslam 2023. I was a mystery opponent of Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. That's where the story begins...
