Astrid's Point of View

Me and Anna looked at each other with same expression "We should check her pulse rate," i said to her "No you don't think that she's-" Anna stammered I looked at her "I don't know that's why we need to check her pulse," I answered tears filling up into my eyes. I felt where her pulse was and let go Anna got hold of it and pulled away too. We looked at each other "We need to tell the others," I said to her tears almost falling down my face.

"Hey um guys we have something to tell you," I stammered. They all looked at except Jack and Elsa of course. "What is it you two look as if you've seen a ghost," Punzie explained. We did a little laugh but not a jolly one. "It's about Merida," thats when they all straightened up and started to pay more attention "Go on..." Punzie carried. "Her face is getting paler..." their faces started to turn into a face of worry I carried on "Plus we check her pulse rate and its getting weaker by the minute." I finished. They looked at us with the same expression as we did "Astrid what are you saying," Hiccup stammered and was close to tears I could tell. "Guys Merida's dying," I got the words out of my mouth. Hiccup got up and ran out the room and Punzie ran out to go and get him. I felt bad for him well for all of them. We had to get to Merida fast otherwise she was gonna be gone for good. "What's up with him then?" Jack asked as Hiccup ran out of the room with Punzie up at her heels. Anna gave him a look and replied "Well you would know if you payed any attention to anything that we were saying wouldn't you." She then left the room but I stayed and looked at them and shook my head at them then also walked out the room.

Hiccup's Point of View

I couldn't stand it I couldn't hear what Astrid had to say but I knew I had too. "Astrid what are you saying?" I stammered while asking the question. "Guys Merida is dying," she got the words out. I stood up and ran out the room and ended up outside Merida's room. I headed into the room slowly I kept saying to myself this can't be true this cannot be true until I got to the bed and seen that they were right Merida's face was paler than it was before and her heart beat was slowing down. I sat next to her on the bed and cried on her shoulder. Then I felt someone touch my shoulder and I looked up and saw that it was Punzie. She knelt down by me and I looked her in the eye "Punzie we're running out of time we need to find a way to communicate to her before she dies," she nodded then she pulled me into a hug and I cried into her dress.
