Where the Oceans end

I have drowned
So often
In the ocean
Of my own salt

I have muffled
My own voice
Afraid
Of my truth

I have set my tongue
Into rivers of blood
And let it envelope me
Like a catastrophe

Alas
The ocean must end
And halt at some place
Where I see your feathers
Calling to me

You come to me
Like a goldfinch
Abundant in your scintillation
Boasting with a lithe positivity
Infinite in your coruscation

You come to me
At the obsequious of the ocean
And you hold the storm
In your fists
With a casket
To bury
My malady

Goldfinch
You drown the ocean
When the ocean
Tries to drown me
