In the library, in the Graphic Novel Section, A Boy was deciding what book he should get, standing there for hours as he didn't know what to pick. It took awhile, but he then spotted a book that interested him, A Yellow Book with no Title, no mention of the Publisher, nothing.

"Interesting." The Boy thought. He then goes to check out his book, the Lady trying to scan the Book but couldn't, as it had no Barcode. The Lady at the register then asks the Boy.

"Ah..this book. You must be very brave if you want to get this." She said.

"What do you mean?"

"You never heard? This book you're getting was known as the scariest thing in this town's history, it said that this book's contents are so terrifying that people couldn't even read the second page..if they could even get that Far."

"Really? It's that scary?"

"That's what I'm told...but I don't know..I never read it, but if you want it then okay. Just remember to return it in a few weeks."

"I will..see ya."

It was already late in the evening when he had returned home, the Yellow Book in Hand, entering his House, saying hi to his Parents, Eating Dinner, and then going upstairs.

"The Scariest huh?" He wondered. "Wonder how scary it is."

After getting ready for bed, he heads to his Room and Tries to read the Book. He slowly opens it, kinda scared of what was to happen if he flipped the cover. But after a minute of anticipation, he found out that the first page was blank.

"Huh?"

As a matter of fact all the pages were blank, not a single one written, which was weird since this was supposed to be the Most Scariest Book in his Town.

"What the Heck is this? What a Rip Off!!"

In Anger, he then throws the Book onto his night stand, thinking of returning the Book Tomorrow morning when he heads to school tomorrow.

"Pfft! The Scariest? What a Joke."

It was Midnight when he had awoken from his Sleep, getting up and going down stairs to get a drink of water, unknownst to him, he was being watched.

After getting a drink he heads back into his room, yawning loudly as he prepares to head back to sleep, but before he could, he then heard an odd noise from downstairs, a small creek being heard.

The Boy ignored it at first as he didn't think of it much, thinking that it was just the house trying to settle...Or so he thought.

As he slept, the Author, the One who had owned the Book, had come to reclaim his Work.
