Octavia's P.O.V
Me and Loona were walking around the city just chatting about the past events though we purposely avoided talking about Blitz's near death as we both were still a bit shaken by it which for me is a little weird but, only because of my first interactions with him wasn't exactly a great way to introduce himself but, seeing the nearly fearless loona even get shaken by the events showed just how much she cared for Blitz despite denying it on countless occasions.

Me and Loona were alike in several ways though the main one being our care for our dad's. Knowing my own mom was trying to kill my dad under our shared roof made me fearful of what could of been and had made me uncomfortable around my mom which was sad. Nobody should have to fear that one day one of their parents would be killed by their other parent. For Loona it was obvious she feared for Blitz, Moxie and Millie getting killed on their missions which would ultimately destroy her mentally as they were the only family she had grown up with sense being adopted despite her reluctant nature. Being adopted had buried down some of her darker thoughts which were concerning as she seemed fearful in certain situations and around certain people from her past.

As we continued walking around the city being vigilant of our surroundings at all times several had looked our way but, a quick growl from Loona and they looked away. You couldn't be careless down here as one slip up and you could quickly end up in a deadly situation. It was nearly 10 pm by now and the night dwellers had started coming out and despite us being a hellhound and a goetia it wasn't advised to stay out longer then needed or you risk being shot.

It was only after we had gotten to the darker areas of the city that we truly felt uneasy which made sense as we didn't have much light to go by. The sound of something snapping had made us head back to the city hoping whoever had been in the darker area hadn't spotted us however after we were in the full light we see what had made the snapping sound had been vortex as he had a bone chunk in his teeth and look rather grim.

Vortex's P.O.V

Seeing Loona and Octavia heading into the darkest part of the city had gave me a feeling of protectiveness towards them as they were unarmed and the fact that part of the city was beyond dangerous. I had used a second path to get ahead of them and despite the situation I didn't like staying in the area for longer then needed as the thugs and lowlife scum lived there and would downright kill anyone that went too far in. Though it was a bit of a dumb way to warn someone I had picked up a old ham bone and when I spotted the girls snapped it. By simply snapping a bone or large stick it had saved several of the kids born down here and defenseless adults from becoming food or used as a sextual release and left to die.

The girls would have been such easy targets that it wasn't even funny. Nobody would know where they were and nobody would be able to find them again. If you wandered too far into that area you never returned or if you managed to somehow escape would be scarred the rest of your afterlife.

As I looked to the girls they both seemed relieved it had been me who had snapped the bone but, it didn't change the looks I got of anger and confusion which I wasn't upset by. Like I had said it was a low thing to do but, if I hadn't they would've already been grabbed. Stolas and Blitz would of killed me themselves if I hadn't kept their daughters away from that area. Despite Stolas being a Goisha prince even he didn't dare go into the area and Blitz never went back after what happened between him and Fizzarolli.

That's where the two got there scars and in Fizz's case where he had first met Asmodeas who was the only one that could go through that area without being messed with due to his massive stature. Both Loona and Octavia looked at each other and then to me thanking me for leading them away from there as they both relized just how dangerous it could of became before asking if I wanted to hang out with them. With a nod the three of us had begun walking together.
