*Stolas's P.O.V*

Back in my safe zone time had lost all meaning as I was  busy getting things around to tend to Blitz's injuries to clean his wounds again however I had paused when my ears picked up on a groan from the direction of where Blitz was and grabbed the stuff I needed before I went to him and at his side in seconds however in my haste I nearly tripped over my own feet. I luckily managed to not drop anything and regain my balance and after setting down the supplies I toke hold of one of blitz's hands gently so he knew he wasn't alone and in the presence of someone that wouldn't hurt him.

At first there was no response from blitz's hand which made me think I may have just been hearing things however just as I was about to start cleaning his injuries like I originally planned I heard a very quiet "stolas is that you?.." Hearing this my heart leaped metaphorically into my mouth before I nuzzled into one of blitz's few areas that were uninjured and got a content sigh as he attempted to nuzzle into my neck feathers.

To accommodate him I drew closer and was thankful he could now reach as he nuzzled into me as best he could and seemed to relax as soon as I very carefully maneuvered him on top of my lap. Despite doing this to comfort him I also did it knowing I still had to change his bandages regardless of the current situation. I waited till blitz was comfortable enough before I started rubbing along his back and the spikes along it which got him purring. In doing this it was both to comfort him and myself but, it was also to distract Blitz so I could change the bandages for new ones. It didnt take me long to remove the old ones and throw them into a trash can before I started wrapping the new ones as I have changed them with practiced ease for about two weeks now.

I hated hearing him let out a few whimpers of discomfort but, I had to finish wrapping the injuries. The injuries themselves were healing but, it was very slow going due to the nature of what caused them. After I finished wrapping blitz's injuries my thoughts went to Loona and Octavia who have mostly healed though it was only because of blitz's quick thinking and for moxie and Millie it seemed their smaller stature had allowed them to avoid any major injuries as they had already healed completely.

For Asmoudous he's been keeping me in the loop on Fizzorali when he can so I could give updates to blitz if he wanted to know how fizz was doing the few days he had been off and on with sleep. Thankfully Blitz was almost back to his usual sleep schedule now though he did still required naps at least two days a week but, I had already known it would be slow going. Those angels during the purge were definitely aiming to kill him and were very close to succeeding if it hadn't been for his willpower to stay with us even on deaths door.

I really don't know how he held on for so long. His injuries were so bad that even I couldn't keep myself from feeling sick at seeing all the blood and the gouged out eye as well as his broken horn laying several feet away as if he had been grabbed by that singular horn and sent flying breaking it in the process. It was while my thoughts started spiraling into different scenarios of how things could of ended that I felt blitz's hand on my cheek and rubbing at something. When I went to follow were his hand was and placed my hand over his I could feel wetness which meant I had started crying at some point and also relized that I had placed blitz in my lap in the process.

When I looked to blitz I could see him smiling though it seemed even that was painful to do however I smiled back to show I saw it and when he had given the signal that he uses to show he was actually in the mood to be kissed that I obligated and kept him close. I hummed happily and got a purr in response as we kissed and after we broke the kiss blitz had tapped my leg with his tail which was another signal though this one was one of wanting me to rest with him and so I laid down with him on top of my chest causing blitz to countinue purring as we drifted off to sleep.
