*Stolas's P.O.V*

The next time I woke, blitz's head was hidden in my chest feathers and was snoring quietly. I had to admit no matter how many times I saw him at peace it was a relief. I was well aware that Blitz's mind was constantly tormenting him and making him feel he wasn't worth any affection when in fact he was one of the ones down here that desperately needed it. Im honestly relieved I had actually been able to see him as a child like myself and a couple other times after that as I would go to the circus with my butler assigned to me when I was old enough and he willingly took me.

Though my butler was a stick in the mud on occasion he was really the only one that willingly listened to me unlike my dad that pushed me away any chance I wanted to have a mutual bonding moment that didn't involve politics and royal duties. He had gave Stella and her brother more attention than he ever did for me which hurt. I knew early on he only cared for me to do his part of creating a suitor for the grimore and though Octavia was to take up my mantle eventually unlike my father I actually tried showing I cared about her and tried to take interest in her likes and though I knew I could do better by her I was trying my best even with Stella having a target on my head well before the divorce was finalized.

Even before I got to see blitz as an adult after he snuck in during one of Stella's many parties she really hadn't seemed to care all that much about me. Stella herself had said she'd of been fine with any other available goitia however at the time there had been no other heirs as my other siblings have already flown the nest so to speak as I was the last to hatch and being the last I was set to the bottom rung before I even took my first breaths outside of the egg. Now that I'm an adult I can say that I got the short end of the straw however having blitz with me made things seem less upsetting and it seems that despite his hesitation he is warming up to me and Octavia.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt blitz start moving more and though he still hissed in pain he didn't curl in on himself this time which was a bit reassuring. blitz had looked around and I could feel his breathing pick up slightly under my hand though when I gently pet along the top of his horns I was both reassuring him he was ok and was also asking for permission if I could pet his spines and had gotten a confirmation with a small nod and so I stroked his back spines as gently as I could well aware of how sharp they were and waited for him to regain his bearings by speaking quietly saying "your ok blitz your safe your with Stolas right now and in my room we had gone back to bed shortly after you helped me get out of a nightmare"

Blitz seemed to remember after that before looking around and setting his eye on the clock before he informed me by pointing at the clock that it was almost noon and when I looked to confirm I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't wake sooner however I wasn't terribly upset. We both needed the sleep though I did look to my phone only to realized that I had several messaged from Octavia wondering how I and blitz were doing and had informed me that she was safe with loona as she was staying at the I.m.p headquarters for now because she felt uncomfortable at home and honestly I couldn't blame her after everything.

Blitz followed my example and realized his coworkers were checking in to see how he was doing however I realized moxxie hadn't been in the list which ticked me off though I decided not to say anything on it as it seemed blitz had expected it as he simply sighed though he did respond to Millie and Loona letting them know he was doing ok and to tell moxie he was doing ok as well if possible before putting his phone down. I had looked to blitz and saw the hurt in his eyes though it was quickly gone and replaced with surprise as his stomach growled and with that I had picked him up made my way to the built in kitchen before saying "let's get ourselves some food" with that blitz had smiled again and nods though I was getting concerned that he hadn't spoken at all sense the nightmare incident and all I could hope for is that he talks later.
